Նրա համար է իմ Հայրն ինձ սիրում, որ ես իմ կեանքն եմ տալիս, որպէսզի վերստին այն առնեմ:

Տէրն ասաց. «Մի՞թէ ես իմ ծառայ Աբրահամից գաղտնի պիտի պահեմ այն, ինչ անելու եմ:
and the lord said, shall i hide from abraham that thing which i do;

Այն օրը դուք պիտի իմանաք, որ ես իմ Հօր մէջ եմ, եւ դուք՝ իմ մէջ. ու ես՝ ձեր մէջ:
at that day ye shall know that i am in my father, and ye in me, and i in you.

Մօտեցաւ Սիմոն Պետրոսին, եւ սա ասաց նրան. «Տէ՛ր, դո՞ւ ես իմ ոտքերը լուանում»:
then cometh he to simon peter: and peter saith unto him, lord, dost thou wash my feet?

Ես իմ ուխտը կը հաստատեմ քեզ հետ, եւ տապան կը մտնես դու, քեզ հետ նաեւ՝ քո որդիները, քո կինը եւ քո որդիների կանայք:
but with thee will i establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.

փարաւոնը ձեզ չի լսի, ես իմ ձեռքը կը դնեմ Եգիպտոսի վրայ եւ իմ զօրութեամբ մեծապէս վրէժխնդիր լինելով՝ Եգիպտացիների երկրից կը հանեմ իմ ժողովրդին՝ իսրայէլացիներին:
but pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that i may lay my hand upon egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of israel, out of the land of egypt by great judgments.

«Եւ ահա ես իմ հրեշտակին ուղարկում եմ քեզ մօտ, որպէսզի նա քո առաջից գնալով՝ քեզ պահպանի ճանապարհին ու տանի այն երկիրը, որ պատրաստեցի քեզ համար:
behold, i send an angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which i have prepared.

Ագարն իր հետ խօսող Տիրոջը դիմելով՝ ասաց. «Դու այն Աստուածն ես, որ ինձ զօրավիգ եղաւ. - քանզի ասաց, - ես իմ առաջ տեսայ նրան, ով երեւացել է ինձ»:
and she called the name of the lord that spake unto her, thou god seest me: for she said, have i also here looked after him that seeth me?
