and they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean.

ang nangamatay nga mga anak gipabalik ngadto sa ilang mga inahan pinaagi sa pagkabanhaw. ang uban gipanagsakit ngadto sa kamatayon, nga nanagsalikway sa kagawasan, aron sila mangabanhaw ngadto sa labi pa ka maayong kinabuhi.
women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

agig hulad niini, ang bautismo usab nagaluwas kaninyo karon dili ingon nga paglugod sa buling gikan sa lawas kondili ingon nga pangamuyo diha sa atubangan sa dios alang sa maayong kaisipan, pinaagi sa pagkabanhaw ni jesu-cristo,
the like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward god,) by the resurrection of jesus christ:

bulahan ug balaan ang tawo nga makaambit sa nahaunang pagkabanhaw! sa mga tawong ingon niini ang ikaduhang kamatayon walay gahum sa pagbuot, hinonoa sila mahimong mga sacerdote sa dios ug ni cristo, ug uban kaniya magahari sila sa usa ka libo ka tuig.
blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of god and of christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

blessed be the god and father of our lord jesus christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of jesus christ from the dead,
