ሐኪሙ መጠጥ መጠጣት ነገረው ፡፡

we have given preference to some prophets over others and we gave the psalms to david .
ጌታህም በሰማያትና በምድር ያለውን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ ከፊሉንም ነቢያት በከፊሉ ላይ በእርግጥ አብልጠናል ፡ ፡ ዳውድንም ዘቡርን ሰጥተነዋል ፡ ፡

is any among you afflicted? let him pray. is any merry? let him sing psalms.
ከእናንተ መከራን የሚቀበል ማንም ቢኖር እርሱ ይጸልይ፤ ደስ የሚለውም ማንም ቢኖር እርሱ ይዘምር።

we have written in the psalms , after the reminder , that the earth will be inherited by my righteous servants .
ምድንም መልካሞቹ ባሮቼ ይወርሷታል ማለትን ከመጽሐፉ ( ከተጠበቀው ሰሌዳ ) በኋላ በመጽሐፎቹ በእርግጥ ጽፈናል ፡ ፡

surely we wrote in the psalms , after the exhortation , that the earth shall be inherited by my righteous servants .
ምድንም መልካሞቹ ባሮቼ ይወርሷታል ማለትን ከመጽሐፉ ( ከተጠበቀው ሰሌዳ ) በኋላ በመጽሐፎቹ በእርግጥ ጽፈናል ፡ ፡

we had prescribed in the book of psalms after the reminder and admonition , that those of our creatures who are good will in the end rule the earth .
ምድንም መልካሞቹ ባሮቼ ይወርሷታል ማለትን ከመጽሐፉ ( ከተጠበቀው ሰሌዳ ) በኋላ በመጽሐፎቹ በእርግጥ ጽፈናል ፡ ፡

and if they deny thee , even so did they deny messengers who were before thee , who came with miracles and with the psalms and with the scripture giving light .
ቢያስተባብሉህም ከአንተ በፊት በግልጽ ተዓምራትና በጽሑፎች ፣ በብሩህ መጽሐፍም የመጡት መልክተኞች በእርግጥ ተስተባብለዋል ፡ ፡

your lord knows best about everyone in the heavens and on the earth . we gave some prophets more than others : we gave david the psalms .
ጌታህም በሰማያትና በምድር ያለውን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ ከፊሉንም ነቢያት በከፊሉ ላይ በእርግጥ አብልጠናል ፡ ፡ ዳውድንም ዘቡርን ሰጥተነዋል ፡ ፡

and thy lord is best aware of all who are in the heavens and the earth . and we preferred some of the prophets above others , and unto david we gave the psalms .
ጌታህም በሰማያትና በምድር ያለውን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ ከፊሉንም ነቢያት በከፊሉ ላይ በእርግጥ አብልጠናል ፡ ፡ ዳውድንም ዘቡርን ሰጥተነዋል ፡ ፡

and thy lord knows very well all who are in the heavens and the earth ; and we have preferred some prophets over others ; and we gave to david psalms .
ጌታህም በሰማያትና በምድር ያለውን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ ከፊሉንም ነቢያት በከፊሉ ላይ በእርግጥ አብልጠናል ፡ ፡ ዳውድንም ዘቡርን ሰጥተነዋል ፡ ፡

if they cry thee lies , those before them also cried lies ; their messengers came to them with the clear signs , the psalms , the illuminating book ;
ቢያስተባብሉህም እነዚያ ከበፊታቸው የነበሩት በእርግጥ አስተባብለዋል ፡ ፡ መልክተኞቻቸው በግልጽ ማስረጃዎችን ፣ በጽሑፎችም ፣ አብራሪ በኾነ መጽሐፍም መጥተዋቸዋል ፡ ፡

with the clear signs , and the psalms ; and we have sent down to thee the remembrance that thou mayest make clear to mankind what was sent down to them ; and so haply they will reflect .
በግልጽ ማስረጃዎችና በመጻሕፍት ( ላክናቸው ) ፡ ፡ ወደ አንተም ለሰዎች ወደእነሱ የተወረደውን ( ፍች ) ልትገልጽላቸውና ያስተነትኑም ዘንድ ቁርኣንን አወረድን ፡ ፡

( we sent them ) with clear signs and the psalms . and we sent down to you the remembrance so that you can make clear to people what has been sent down to them , in order that they reflect .
በግልጽ ማስረጃዎችና በመጻሕፍት ( ላክናቸው ) ፡ ፡ ወደ አንተም ለሰዎች ወደእነሱ የተወረደውን ( ፍች ) ልትገልጽላቸውና ያስተነትኑም ዘንድ ቁርኣንን አወረድን ፡ ፡
