အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ကြောက်တတ်သော စိတ်သဘောကို ငါတို့အား ပေးတော်မူ သည်မဟုတ်၊ တန်ခိုးပါသောစိတ်၊ ချစ်တတ်သောစိတ်၊ ရှင်းလင်းသောစိတ်သဘောကို ပေးတော်မူ၏။

for they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:
အထက်ကသူတို့မသိ၊ သူတို့အား အဘယ်အရာ ကိုမျှ မပေးသော အခြားတပါးသော ဘုရားတို့အား ဝတ် ပြုကိုးကွယ် ကြသောကြောင့်၎င်း၊

not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
စပျစ်ရည်နှင့်ပျော်မွေ့ခြင်း၊ သူတပါးကိုရိုက်ပုတ်ခြင်း၊ မစင်ကြယ်သော စီးပွါးကိုတပ်မက်ခြင်းမရှိ၊ စိတ် ဖြည်းညှင်းသောသူ၊ ရန်မတွေ့တတ်သောသူ၊ ငွေကို မတပ်မက်သောသူဖြစ်ရမည်။

he that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man,
အတိုးစား၍ ငွေကိုမချေး၊ အဓမ္မအမှုကို လက်မခံ၊ သူတပါးအမှုကို တရားသဖြင့် စီရင်ခြင်း၊

the aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
ထိုနည်းတူ၊ အသက်ကြီးရင့်သောမိန်းမတို့သည် ကျင့်ကြံပြုမူရာမှာ ဓမ္မအမှုနှင့် ထိုက်တန်သောသူ၊ မချောစားတတ်သောသူ၊ စပျစ်ရည်၌ မလွန်ကြူးတတ်သောသူ၊ ကောင်းသောအတတ်ကို သင်ပေးတတ်သောသူ ကိုယ်တိုင်ဖြစ်၍၊

is not the lord your god with you? and hath he not given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the lord, and before his people.
သင်တို့၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင်တို့နှင့်အတူ ရှိတော်မူသည်မဟုတ်လော။ အရပ်ရပ်၌ ငြိမ်ဝပ်ရသော အခွင့်ကို ပေးတော်မူသည်မဟုတ်လော။ ပြည်သူပြည်သားတို့ကို ငါ့လက်၌အပ်တော်မူသဖြင့်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ရှေ့၊ ထိုဘုရားသခင်၏ လူတို့ရှေ့မှာ တပြည်လုံးသည် နှိမ့်ချလျက်ရှိ၏။

for a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of god; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သင်းအုပ်သည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ ဘဏ္ဍာစိုးကဲ့သို့၊ အပြစ်တင်ခွင့်နှင့် ကင်းလွတ်သော သူဖြစ်ရမည်။ ကိုယ်အလိုသို့ လိုက်တတ်သောသူ၊ စိတ်တိုသောသူ၊ စပျစ်ရည်နှင့်ပျော်မွေ့သောသူ၊ သူတပါးကို ရိုက်ပုတ်သောသူ၊ မစင်ကြယ်သောစီးပွါးကို တပ်မက်သောသူ မဖြစ်ရဘဲ၊

and she put her widow's garments off from her, and covered her with a vail, and wrapped herself, and sat in an open place, which is by the way to timnath; for she saw that shelah was grown, and she was not given unto him to wife.
မုတ်ဆိုးမအဝတ်ကို ချွတ်၍ မျက်နှာဖုံးနှင့် မျက်နှာကိုဖုံးလျက်၊ ကိုယ်ကိုလည်းခြုံရုံလျက်၊ တိမနတ်မြို့ သို့ သွားသောလမ်းအနား၊ ဧနိမ်မြို့တံခါးဝ၌ ထိုင်နေလေ ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ရှေလကြီးသော်လည်း၊ မိမိနှင့် အိမ်ထောင်ဘက်မပြုရဟု သိမြင်သောကြောင့်တည်း။

again, when a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and i lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will i require at thine hand.
တဖန်တုံ၊ ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူသည်ဖေါက်ပြန်၍ ဒုစရိုက်ကိုပြု လျှင်၎င်း၊ ထိမိ၍ လဲစရာအကြောင်းကို သူ့ရှေ့မှာငါထားလျှင်၎င်း သူသည် သေလိမ့်မည်။ သင်သည်သတိမပေးသောကြောင့်၊ သူသည်မိမိအပြစ်၌ သေလိမ့်မည်။ သူကျင့်ဘူးသော တရားကို ပမာဏမပြုရ။ သူ၏ အသက်ကိုကား၊ သင်၌ငါတောင်းမည်။
