look! the friends of allah will indeed have no fear nor will they grieve
ދަންނާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ގެ ولىّ ންގެ މައްޗަކަށް އެއްވެސް ބިރެއްނެތެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނީ ހިތާމަކުރާނޭ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައިވެސް ނުމެވޭމެއެވެ.

o you who believe! do not take the jews and the christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely allah does not guide the unjust people.
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން يهودى ންނާއި، نصارى އިން (އެއީ) އެކުވެރިން ކަމުގައި ނުބަލާށެވެ! އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން އެއްބަޔަކީ އަނެއްބަޔެއްގެ އެކުވެރިންނެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން އެއުރެން އެކުވެރިން ކަމުގައި ބަލައިފިމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއީ، އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިންވާ މީހެކެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަނިޔާވެރި ބަޔަކަށް اللَّه ތެދުމަގެއް ނުދައްކަވާނެތެވެ.

now surely the friends of allah-- they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.
ދަންނާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ގެ ولىّ ންގެ މައްޗަކަށް އެއްވެސް ބިރެއްނެތެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނީ ހިތާމަކުރާނޭ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައިވެސް ނުމެވޭމެއެވެ.

god is the friend of those who believe, and leads them out of darkness into light; but the patrons of infidels are idols and devils who lead them from light into darkness. they are the residents of hell, and will there for ever abide.
اللَّه އީ، إيمان ވި މީހުންނަށް އެހީތެރިވެ، ވާގިވެރިވެ ވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ، އަނދިރިކަމުގެ ތެރެއިން އަލިކަމަށް އެއުރެން ނެރުއްވައެވެ. އަދި، كافر ވި މީހުންގެ އެކުވެރި ވާގިވެރިންނަކީ، شيطان ންނެވެ. އަލިކަމުގެ ތެރެއިން އަނދިރިކަމަށް، އެ شيطان ން އެއުރެން ނެރެތެވެ. އެއުރެންނީ، ނަރަކައިގެ أهل ވެރިންނެވެ. އެއުރެން އެތާނގައި ދެމިތިބޭނެތެވެ.

behold! verily on the friends of allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve;
ދަންނާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ގެ ولىّ ންގެ މައްޗަކަށް އެއްވެސް ބިރެއްނެތެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނީ ހިތާމަކުރާނޭ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައިވެސް ނުމެވޭމެއެވެ.

(o prophet), good and evil are not equal. repel (evil) with that which is good, and you will see that he, between whom and you there was enmity, shall become as if he were a bosom friend (of yours).
ރަނގަޅު ކަންތަކާއި، ނުބައިކަންތައް ހަމަހަމަވެގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ. އެންމެހެޔޮ، ރިވެތިގޮތުން ތިބާ (ނުބައިކަންތައް) ދުރުކުރާށެވެ. ފަހެ، އެހާރުން ތިބާއާ އޭނާއާ ދެމެދުގައި عداوة ތެރިކަމެއްވާ މީހާ، ގާތް رحمة ތެރިޔަކު ފަދައިން ވެދާނެތެވެ.
