“you and your forefathers preceding you.”
އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އިސްވެދިޔަ ކާބަފައިން އަޅުކަންކުރި ތަކެއްޗާމެދު ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ވިސްނައި ބެލީމުހެއްޔެވެ؟

said moosa, “your lord and the lord of your forefathers preceding you.”
އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އިސްވެދިޔަ ކާބަފައިންގެވެސް ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

then the preceding one will say to the succeeding one: you are no better than us: so taste the punishment you have earned."
އަދި އެއުރެންކުރެ ކުރީގެ މީހުން ފަހުގެ މީހުންނަށް ބުނާނެތެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިމަންމެންގެ މައްޗަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކަށް އިތުރު ކަމެއް ނެތެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހޯދައި އުޅުނު (ނުބައި) عمل ތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން عذاب ގެ ރަހަ ލިބިގަންނާށެވެ!

and the preceding groups will say to the latter, “so you too were no better than us, therefore taste the punishment for what you have done!”
އަދި އެއުރެންކުރެ ކުރީގެ މީހުން ފަހުގެ މީހުންނަށް ބުނާނެތެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިމަންމެންގެ މައްޗަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކަށް އިތުރު ކަމެއް ނެތެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހޯދައި އުޅުނު (ނުބައި) عمل ތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން عذاب ގެ ރަހަ ލިބިގަންނާށެވެ!

and we have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and we have already known the later [ones to come].
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ކުރީގެ (جيل ތަކުގެ) މީހުން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވަމެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ފަހުން އަންނާނޭ މީހުންވެސް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވަމެވެ.

the heart did not deny, what it saw. (the holy prophet was bestowed with seeing allah – see also preceding verses 8, 9, 10.)
އެކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވަޑައިގެންނެވި ކަންތަކާމެދު (އެކަލޭގެފާނުންގެ) ހިތްޕުޅު إنكار އެއް ނުކުރައްވަތެވެ.

then the preceding ones will say to the succeeding ones: 'you were in no way superior to us; taste, then, this torment for your deeds.'
އަދި އެއުރެންކުރެ ކުރީގެ މީހުން ފަހުގެ މީހުންނަށް ބުނާނެތެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިމަންމެންގެ މައްޗަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކަށް އިތުރު ކަމެއް ނެތެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހޯދައި އުޅުނު (ނުބައި) عمل ތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން عذاب ގެ ރަހަ ލިބިގަންނާށެވެ!

and (remember) lout (lot), when he said to his people: "do you commit the worst sin such as none preceding you has committed in the 'alamin (mankind and jinns)?
އަދި لوط ގެފާނު، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ قوم ގެމީހުންނަށް ވިދާޅުވިހިނދު (ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކުރިން، عالم ތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން އެކަކުވެސް ކޮށްފައިނުވާ فاحش عمل ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކުރަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟
