ފަހެ، ތިމަންމެންގެ މައްޗަށް، ތިމަންމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ عذاب ގެ ބަސްފުޅު حق ވެއްޖެއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންނީ عذاب ގެ ރަހަ ދެކޭނޭ ބަޔެއްކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

even so the word of thy lord was realised against the unbelievers, that they are the inhabitants of the fire.
كافر ވިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންނަކީ، ނަރަކައިގެ أهل ވެރިންކަމަށް ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ كلمة ފުޅު حق ވެގެންވަނީ އެފަދައިންނެވެ.

we realised that we could not weaken the power of god on earth, nor outpace him by running away.
އަދި ތިމަންމެންނަށް ބިމުގައި اللَّه ނުކުޅައްދައި ނުލެވޭނެކަމާއި، އަދި އެކަލާނގެއަށް ފިލައިގެން ދިޔުމުގައިވެސް ނުކުޅައްދައި ނުލެވޭނެކަން ތިމަންމެން يقين ކުރަމުއެވެ.

have they not realised that god knows their secrets and their confidential talk, and that god has the knowledge of unknown things?
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންގެ (ހިތްތަކުގައިވާ) ސިއްރުތަކާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ސިއްރު ސައްލާތައް اللَّه ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާކަމާއި، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، غيب ތައް މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެކަން އެއުރެން ނުދަންނަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

have they not realised that anyone who opposes god and his prophet, will abide in hell for ever? and that is the worst disgrace.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް ދެކޮޅުވެރިވާ މީހާ، ފަހެ، އެތާނގައި ދެމިހުންނަ ގޮތުގައި، އެމީހާއަށް ނަރަކައިގެ އަލިފާން ހުރިކަން އެއުރެން ނުދަންނަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ނިކަމެތިކަމަކީ އެއީއެވެ.

if only the disbelievers realised the time when they will not be able to stop the fire from their faces and from their backs – and nor are they to be helped.
كافر ވި މީހުންނަށް އެއުރެންގެ ކުރިމަތިންނާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ފުރަގަހުން، އަލިފާނުގެ عذاب ދުރުނުކުރެވޭހިނދު، އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް އެއްވެސް ފަރާތަކުން نصر ލިބުމެއް ނުވާހިނދު (އެކަން) އެނގޭނަމަ (އެއުރެން އެހެނެއް ނުބުނާނެ) ތެވެ.

and when they repented and realised that they had gone astray, they said, “if our lord does not have mercy on us and forgive us, we are ruined.”
އެއުރެން (އެކުޅަ ކަންތަކާމެދު) ދެރަވެ، ހިތާމަލިބި، އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް މަގު އޮޅިއްޖެކަމަށް ފެނުނުހިނދު، އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. ތިމަންމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ، ތިމަންމެންނަށް رحمة ނުލެއްވިނަމަ، އަދި ތިމަންމެންނަށް ފާފަފުއްސަވައި ނުދެއްވިނަމަ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންވާހުށީ، ގެއްލެނިވެގެންވާ މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.

those against whom the word will be realised will say: "our lord, these are the ones whom we led astray just as we ourselves strayed. we absolve ourselves before you of all blame.
އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް (ކޯފާގެ) ބަސްފުޅު حق ވީ މީހުން ދަންނަވާނެތެވެ. އަޅަމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާކޮ! މިތިބީ އަޅަމެން މަގުފުރެއްދި މީހުންނެވެ. އަޅަމެން، އެއުރެން މަގުފުރެއްދީ، އަޅަމެންވެސް މަގުފުރެދުނު ފަދައިންނެވެ. އިބަރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް އެއުރެންގެ ކިބައިން އަޅަމެން ބަރީއަވެއްޖައީމުއެވެ. އެއުރެން އަޅުކަންކޮށް އުޅުނީ އަޅަމެންނަކަށް ނޫނެވެ.

but when they became remorseful and realised they had gone astray, they said, ‘should our lord have no mercy on us, and forgive us, we will be surely among the losers.’
އެއުރެން (އެކުޅަ ކަންތަކާމެދު) ދެރަވެ، ހިތާމަލިބި، އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް މަގު އޮޅިއްޖެކަމަށް ފެނުނުހިނދު، އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. ތިމަންމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ، ތިމަންމެންނަށް رحمة ނުލެއްވިނަމަ، އަދި ތިމަންމެންނަށް ފާފަފުއްސަވައި ނުދެއްވިނަމަ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންވާހުށީ، ގެއްލެނިވެގެންވާ މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.
