surely! in this are signs, for those who see (or understand or learn the lessons from the signs of allah).
நிச்சயமாக இதில் சிந்தனையுடையோருக்குப் பல அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

see they not that they are tried once or twice every year (with different kinds of calamities, disease, famine, etc.)? yet, they turn not in repentance, nor do they learn a lesson (from it).
ஒவ்வோர் ஆண்டிலும், ஒரு முறையோ, இரு முறையோ அவர்கள் சோதிக்கப்படுகிறார்கள்" என்பதை அவர்கள் காணவில்லையா? அப்படியிருந்தும் அவர்கள் தவ்பா செய்து மீள்வதுமில்லை (அது பற்றி) நினைவு கூர்ந்து நல்லுணர்ச்சி பெறுவதுமில்லை.

and thus we have sent it down as a quran in arabic, and have explained therein in detail the warnings, in order that they may fear allah, or that it may cause them to have a lesson from it (or to have the honour for believing and acting on its teachings).
