all the townships afflicted with scourge are before your eyes . when they committed wrong , we destroyed them .
እነዚህ ከተሞችም በበደሉ ጊዜ አጠፋናቸው ፡ ፡ ለመጥፊያቸውም የተወሰነ ጊዜን አደረግን ፡ ፡

let them , then , laugh little , and weep much at the contemplation of the punishment for the evil they have committed .

ሉጥንም ለሕዝቦቹ ባለ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ « አስቀያሚን ሥራ ትሠራላችሁን በእርሷ ከዓለማት አንድም አልቀደማችሁም ፡ ፡ »

[ the angels will be ordered ] , " gather those who committed wrong , their kinds , and what they used to worship
( ለመላእክቶችም ) « እነዚያን ነፍሶቻቸውን የበደሉትን ሰዎች ጓደኞቻቸውንም ይግገዟቸው የነበሩትንም ( ጣዖታት ) ሰብስቡ ፡ ፡

return , all of you to your father and say to him : ' father , your son has committed a theft . we testify only to what we know .
« ወደ አባታችሁ ተመለሱ በሉትም ፡ - አባታችን ሆይ ! ልጅህ ሰረቀ ፡ ፡ ባወቅነውም ነገር እንጂ አልመሰከርንም ፡ ፡ ሩቁንም ነገር ( ምስጢሩን ) ዐዋቂዎች አልነበርንም ፡ ፡
