« የዚያ የምትቻኮሉበት ከፊሉ ለእናንተ የቀረበ መኾኑ ተረጋግጧል » በላቸው ፡ ፡

verily have found a woman ruling over them and she hath been vouchsafed somewhat of everything , and hers is a mighty throne .
« እኔ የምትገዛቸው የኾኑችን ሴት ከነገሩም ሁሉ የተሰጠችኝ አገኘሁ ፡ ፡ ለእርሷም ታላቅ ዙፋን አልላት ፡ ፡

we narrate unto thee ( somewhat ) of the story of moses and pharaoh with truth , for folk who believe .
ከሙሳና ከፈርዖን ዜና እውነተኞች ስንኾን ለሚያምኑ ሕዝቦች ባንተ ላይ እናነባለን ፡ ፡

and we will most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruits ; and give good news to the patient ,
ከፍርሃትና ከረኃብም በጥቂት ነገር ፣ ከገንዘቦችና ከነፍሶችም ፣ ከፍራፍሬዎችም በመቀነስ በእርግጥ እንሞክራችኋለን ፡ ፡ ታጋሾችንም ( በገነት ) አብስር ፡ ፡

and they brought his shirt with false blood on it . he said , ' no ; but your spirits tempted you to do somewhat .
በቀሚሱም ላይ የውሸትን ደም አመጡ ፡ ፡ ( አባታቸው ) « አይደለም ፤ ነፍሶቻችሁ ( ውሸት ) ነገርን ለእናንተ ሸለሙላችሁ ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ መልካም ትዕግስት ( ማድረግ አለብኝ ) በምትሉትም ነገር ላይ መታገዣው አላህ ብቻ ነው » አለ ፡ ፡

for we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.
በመልክ እንጂ በልብ ለማይመኩ የምትመልሱላቸው መልስ እንዲኖራችሁ፥ በእኛ ልትመኩ ምክንያት እንሰጣችኋለን እንጂ ራሳችንን ደግሞ ለእናንተ የምናመሰግን አይደለንም።

that he may forgive you somewhat of your sins and respite you to an appointed term . lo ! the term of allah , when it cometh , cannot be delayed , if ye but knew .
« ለእናንተ ከኀጢኣቶቻችሁ ይምራልና ፡ ፡ ወደተወሰነው ጊዜም ያቆያችኋል ፡ ፡ የአላህ ( የወሰነው ) ጊዜ በመጣ ወቅት አይቆይም ፡ ፡ የምታውቁት ብትኾኑ ኖሮ ( በታዘዛችሁ ነበር ) ፡ ፡ »

to any that desires the tilth of the hereafter , we give increase in his tilth , and to any that desires the tilth of this world , we grant somewhat thereof , but he has no share or lot in the hereafter .
( በሥራው ) የኋለኛይቱን ዓለም አዝመራ የሚፈልግ የኾነ ሰው ለእርሱ በአዝመራው ላይ እንጨምርለታለን ፡ ፡ የቅርቢቱንም ዓለም አዝመራ የሚፈልግ የኾነ ሰው ከእርሷ ( የተወሰነለትን ብቻ ) እንሰጠዋለን ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም በኋለኛይቱ ዓለም ምንም ፋንታ የለውም ፡ ፡

allah will surely try you somewhat ( in the matter ) of the game which ye take with your hands and your spears , that allah may know him who feareth him in secret . whoso transgresseth after this , for him there is a painful doom .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ( በሐጅ ጊዜ ) እጆቻችሁና ጦሮቻችሁ በሚያገኙት ታዳኝ አውሬ አላህ ይሞክራችኋል ፡ ፡ በሩቅ ኾኖ የሚፈራውን ሰው አላህ ሊገልጽ ( ይሞክራችኋል ) ፡ ፡ ከዚያም በኋላ ወሰንን ያለፈና ያደነ ሰው ለርሱ አሳማሚ ቅጣት አለው ፡ ፡
