o noble messenger ( prophet mohammed peace and – blessings be upon him ) ! do not let yourself be aggrieved by the people who rush towards disbelief – those who say with their mouths , “ we believe ” but whose hearts are not muslims ; and some jews ; they listen a great deal to falsehood , and to other people who do not come to you ; shifting allah s words ’ from their correct places ; and say , “ if this command is given to you , obey it , but if this is not given to you , then refrain ; ” and the one whom allah wills to send astray , you will never be able to help him in the least against allah ; they are those whose hearts allah did not will to cleanse ; for them is disgrace in this world , and for them is a great punishment in the hereafter .
হে প ্ রিয় রসূল ! যারা অবিশ ্ বাসের অভিমুখে ধাওয়া করেছে তারা যেন তোমাকে দুঃখিত না করে , যারা তাদের মুখে বলে -- ' আমরা ঈমান এনেছি ’ , কিন ্ তু তাদের হৃদয় ঈমান আনে নি , আর যারা ইহুদীয় মত পোষণ করে , -- মিথ ্ যার জন ্ যে শ ্ রবণকারী , শ ্ রবণকারী অন ্ য লোকদের জন ্ যে যারা তোমার কাছে আসে না । তারা কথাগুলো সরিয়ে দেয় সেগুলোকে যথাস ্ থানে স ্ থাপনের পরে , তারা বলে -- ''তোমাদের যদি এই দেওয়া হয় তবে তা গ্রহণ করো, আর যদি তোমাদের এই দেয়া না হয় তবে সাবধান হও।’’ আর যাকে তার প্রলোভনের মধ্যে আল্লাহ্ চান, তার জন্য আল্লাহ্‌র কাছ থেকে কিছু করার ক্ষমতা তোমার নেই। এরাই তারা যাদের সন্বন্ধে আল্লাহ্ চান না যে তাদের হৃদয় বিশুদ্ধ হোক। এদের জন্য এই দুনিয়াতে রয়েছে দুর্গতি, আর পরকালে এদের জন্য কঠোর শাস্তি।
