اس دن لوگ اپنے رب کی طرف پھریں گے کئی راہ ہوکر تاکہ اپنا کیا دکھائیں جائیں تو،

اس دن لوگ اپنے رب کی طرف پھریں گے کئی راہ ہوکر تاکہ اپنا کیا دکھائیں جائیں تو،

(muhammad), say to them, "tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?"
(ان سے) فرمائیے کہ زمین اور جو کوئی اس میں (رہ رہا) ہے (سب) کس کی مِلک ہے، اگر تم (کچھ) جانتے ہو،

to see their benefits, commemorate the name of god during the appointed days, and offer the sacrifice of the cattle that god has given them. they themselves should consume part of the sacrificial flesh and give the rest to the destitute and needy people.
اپنے فائدے حاصل کرنے کو آجائیں اور ان مقرره دنوں میں اللہ کا نام یاد کریں اور چوپایوں پر جو پالتو ہیں۔ پس تم آپ بھی کھاؤ اور بھوکے فقیروں کو بھی کھلاؤ

we appointed the night and the day as two signs. then, we blotted out the sign of the night and made the sign of the day to see, so that you seek the bounty of your lord and that you know the number of years and the reckoning. and we have clearly distinguished everything.
اور ہم نے دن اور رات کو دو نشانیاں بنایا ہے رات کی نشانی کو تاریک بنایا اور دن کی نشانی کو روشن۔ تاکہ تم اپنے پروردگار کا فضل (یعنی) روزی تلاش کرو اور برسوں کا شمار اور حساب جانو۔ اور ہم نے ہر چیز کو (بخوبی) تفصیل کردی ہے

we have enjoined upon man kindness to his parents, but if they exert pressure on you to associate with me in my divinity any that you do not know (to be my associate), do not obey them. to me is your return, and i shall let you know all that you have done.
اور ہم نے آدمی کو تاکید کی اپنے ماں باپ کے ساتھ بھلائی کی اور اگر تو وہ تجھ سے کوشش کریں کہ تو میرا شریک ٹھہرائے جس کا تجھے علم نہیں تو تُو ان کا کہا نہ مان میری ہی طرف تمہارا پھرنا ہے تو میں بتادوں گا تمہیں جو تم کرتے تھے
