and we have sent down rain from the sky in a measured amount and settled it in the earth. and indeed, we are able to take it away.

اور جس نے آسمان سے ایک معین مقدار میں پانی نازل کیا اورپھر ہم نے اس کے ذریعہ اَمردہ زمینوں کو زندہ بنادیا اسی طرح تم بھی زمین سے نکالے جاؤ گے
and (it is he), who sends down water from the sky in its measure thereby we revive the land that was dead, as such you shall be brought forth.

اور ان کو آگاہ کردو کہ ان میں پانی کی باری مقرر کر دی گئی ہے۔ ہر (باری والے کو اپنی) باری پر آنا چاہیئے
and declare thou unto them that water hath been divided between them; every drinking shall be by turns.

پھر جب انہیں ان کا سامان اسباب ٹھیک ٹھاک کرکے دیا تو اپنے بھائی کے اسباب میں پانی پینے کا پیالہ رکھ دیا۔ پھر ایک آواز دینے والے نے پکار کر کہا کہ اے قافلے والو! تم لوگ تو چور ہو
and when he had furnished them with their furnishing; he placed the drinking-cup in his brother's pack. - thereafter a crier cried: o caravan! verily ye are thieves.

اور دریا بھی اسی نے تمہارے بس میں کر دیے ہیں کہ تم اس میں سے (نکلا ہوا) تازه گوشت کھاؤ اور اس میں سے اپنے پہننے کے زیورات نکال سکو اور تم دیکھتے ہو کہ کشتیاں اس میں پانی چیرتی ہوئی (چلتی) ہیں اور اس لیے بھی کہ تم اس کا فضل تلاش کرو اور ہوسکتا ہے کہ تم شکر گزاری بھی کرو
and he it is who has subjected the sea (to you), that you eat thereof fresh tender meat (i.e. fish), and that you bring forth out of it ornaments to wear. and you see the ships ploughing through it, that you may seek (thus) of his bounty (by transporting the goods from place to place) and that you may be grateful.
