and when they came (again) before him (joseph) they said: o ruler! misfortune hath touched us and our folk, and we bring but poor merchandise, so fill for us the measure and be charitable unto us. lo! allah will requite the charitable,

markaasay u timid gabdhihii middood iyadoo xishoon waxayna ku tidhi aabahay wuu kuu yeedhi inuu kaa abaal mariyo ujuuradii waraabintaada annaga, markuu u yimid oos uga warramay qisadii yuu ku yidhi ha cabsan waad ka kortay qoomkii daalimiinta ahaa.
afterwards one of the (damsels) came (back) to him, walking bashfully. she said: "my father invites thee that he may reward thee for having watered (our flocks) for us." so when he came to him and narrated the story, he said: "fear thou not: (well) hast thou escaped from unjust people."

waxay dhahaan kuwii eebe la wadaajiyay (cibaadada) haduu doono eebe maanaan caabudneen cid ka soo hadhay waxba annaga iyo aabayaalkanno mana xarrimneen isaga ka sokow waxba, saasayna faleen kuwii ka horeeyay ee rasuullada ma saaran yahay waxaan gaadhsiin cad ahayn.
and the idolaters say: had allah willed, we had not worshipped aught beside him, we and our fathers, nor had we forbidden aught without (command from) him. even so did those before them. are the messengers charged with aught save plain conveyance (of the message)?
