they said: o musa! verily we shall never enter it so long as they remain therein; go thou and thy lord, and fight ye twain, we shall remain here sitting.

na amenijaalia ni mwenye kubarikiwa popote pale niwapo. na ameniusia sala na zaka maadamu ni hai,
"and he has made me blessed wheresoever i be, and has enjoined on me salat (prayer), and zakat, as long as i live."

basi maadamu wanakwenda nanyi sawa, nanyi pia nendeni sawa nao. hakika mwenyezi mungu huwapenda wachamngu
as long as these stand true to you, stand ye true to them: for allah doth love the righteous.

hapana lawama kwa wanyonge, wagonjwa, na wasio pata cha kutumia, maadamu wanamsafia niya mwenyezi mungu na mtume wake.
but no blame shall attach to the weak, the sick, and those who have no means to spend, provided they are sincere to god and his messenger.

maadamu sasa, kwa kuutii ukweli, ninyi mmezitakasa roho zenu na kuwapenda wenzenu bila unafiki, basi, pendaneni kwa moyo wote.
seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

maadamu kristo aliteseka kimwili, nanyi pia mnapaswa kujiimarisha kwa nia hiyo yake; maana mtu akisha teseka kimwili hahusiki tena na dhambi.
forasmuch then as christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

hapana lawama kwa wanyonge, wagonjwa, na wasio pata cha kutumia, maadamu wanamsafia niya mwenyezi mungu na mtume wake. hapana njia ya kuwalaumu wanao fanya wema.
it shall be no crime in the weak, nor in the sick, nor in those who do not find what they should spend (to stay behind), so long as they are sincere to allah and his apostle; there is no way (to blame) against the doers of good; and allah is forgiving, merciful;

wakati usiku umefika na nchi iw giza, na mwezi ni mwanga tu tutaweza kuona, hakuna i si kuwa na hofu. ah, usiogope, maadamu unasimama karibu nami.
when the night has come and the land is dark, and the moon is the only light we'll see, no i won't be afraid. oh, iwon't be afraid, just as long as you stand by me.

itakuwaje iwepo ahadi na washirikina mbele ya mwenyezi mungu na mbele ya mtume wake, ila wale mlio ahidiana nao kwenye msikiti mtakatifu? basi maadamu wanakwenda nanyi sawa, nanyi pia nendeni sawa nao.
how shall the polytheists have any [valid] treaty with allah and his apostle?! (barring those with whom you made a treaty at the holy mosque; so long as they are steadfast with you, be steadfast with them.

si dhambi juu ya walio amini na wakatenda mema kwa walivyo vila (zamani) maadamu wakichamngu na wakiamini na wakitenda mema, kisha wakachamngu, na wakaamini, kisha wakachamngu na wakafanya mazuri.
no blame shall be attached to those who believe and did good works in regard to any food they have eaten, so long as they ward off (the forbidden) and believe, and do good deeds, then they fear and believe, and again, so long as they fear and do fine deeds.
