and that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

utsho uyehova umenzi wakho, umbumbi wakho kwasesizalweni, umncedi wakho, ukuthi, musa ukoyika, mkhonzi wam yakobi, yeshurun endimnyulileyo.
thus saith the lord that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; fear not, o jacob, my servant; and thou, jesurun, whom i have chosen.

uphumile ke loo mkhonzi, wafumanana nomnye wabakhonza kunye naye obenetyala kuye leedenariyo ezilikhulu; wambamba, wamkrwitsha, esithi, ndihlawule ityala onalo.
but the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, pay me that thou owest.

his lord said unto him, well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, i will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

musa ukoyika, wena mkhonzi wam yakobi, utsho uyehova; ngokuba ndinawe; ngokuba ndiya kuzigqibela kuphele iintlanga zonke endikugxothele kuzo. ke wena andiyi kukugqibela kuphele; ndokuthethisa ngokusesikweni; andiyi kuthi umsulwa.
fear thou not, o jacob my servant, saith the lord: for i am with thee; for i will make a full end of all the nations whither i have driven thee: but i will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will i not leave thee wholly unpunished.
