ዓይኑ ( ካየው ) አልተዘነበለም ፡ ፡ ወሰንም አላለፈም ፡ ፡

( ሙሳም ) አለ « ያን ጊዜ እኔም ከተሳሳቱት ኾኜ ሠራኋት ፡ ፡

his gaze did not swerve , nor did it overstep the bounds .
ዓይኑ ( ካየው ) አልተዘነበለም ፡ ፡ ወሰንም አላለፈም ፡ ፡

the eye did not turn aside , nor did it exceed the limit .
ዓይኑ ( ካየው ) አልተዘነበለም ፡ ፡ ወሰንም አላለፈም ፡ ፡

he said , “ i did it then , when i was of those astray .
( ሙሳም ) አለ « ያን ጊዜ እኔም ከተሳሳቱት ኾኜ ሠራኋት ፡ ፡

( his ) sight never swerved , nor did it go wrong !
ዓይኑ ( ካየው ) አልተዘነበለም ፡ ፡ ወሰንም አላለፈም ፡ ፡

for in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.
እርስዋ ይህን ሽቱ በሰውነቴ ላይ አፍስሳ ለመቃብሬ አደረገች።

said he , ' indeed i did it then , being one of those that stray ;
( ሙሳም ) አለ « ያን ጊዜ እኔም ከተሳሳቱት ኾኜ ሠራኋት ፡ ፡

he said : i did it then while i was of those unable to see the right course ;
( ሙሳም ) አለ « ያን ጊዜ እኔም ከተሳሳቱት ኾኜ ሠራኋት ፡ ፡

because of the harm you did , it would be of no benefit to you today , you are partners in the punishment .
ስለ በደላችሁም ዛሬ እናንተ በቅጣት ተጋሪዎች መኾናችሁ አይጠቅማችሁም ፤ ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

' it was their great one amongst them that did it . ask them , if they are able to speak '
« አይደለም ይህ ታላቃቸው ሠራው ፡ ፡ ይናገሩም እንደ ኾነ ጠይቋቸው » አለ ፡ ፡

he answered , " rather this biggest one of them did it . ask them , if they can speak . "
« አይደለም ይህ ታላቃቸው ሠራው ፡ ፡ ይናገሩም እንደ ኾነ ጠይቋቸው » አለ ፡ ፡

the sight [ of the prophet ] did not swerve , nor did it transgress [ its limit ] .
ዓይኑ ( ካየው ) አልተዘነበለም ፡ ፡ ወሰንም አላለፈም ፡ ፡

and with truth have we revealed it , and with truth did it come ; and we have not sent you but as the giver of good news and as a warner .
( ቁርኣንን ) በውነትም አወረድነው ፡ ፡ በእውነትም ወረደ ፡ ፡ አንተንም አብሳሪና አስጠንቃቂ አድርገን እንጂ አልላክንህም ፡ ፡

and as for those twain of you who commit it , hurt them both ; then , if they repent and amend , turn away from them ; verily allah is relenting , merciful .
እነዚያንም ከእናንተ ውስጥ ( ዝሙትን ) የሚሠሩዋትን አሰቃዩዋቸው ፡ ፡ ቢጸጸቱና ሥራቸውንም ቢያሳምሩ ከእነርሱ ተገቱ ( አታሰቃዩዋቸው ) ፡ ፡ አላህ ጸጸትን ተቀባይ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡
