whereby there shall be neither headiness nor will they be inebriated .
ከእርሷ የራስ ምታት አያገኛቸውም ፤ አይሰክሩምም ፡ ፡

whereby heaven shall be split , and its promise shall be performed .
ሰማዩ በርሱ ( በዚያ ቀን ) ተሰንጣቂ ነው ፡ ፡ ቀጠሮው ተፈጻሚ ነው ፡ ፡

whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
በዚህም ምክንያት ያን ጊዜ የነበረ ዓለም በውኃ ሰጥሞ ጠፋ፤

whereby whatsoever is in their bellies and their skins shall be melted ;
በሆዶቻቸው ውስጥ ያሉ ቆዳዎቻቸውም በእርሱ ይቀለጣሉ ፡ ፡

whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of christ)
ይህንም ስታነቡ የክርስቶስን ምሥጢር እንዴት እንደማስተውል ልትመለከቱ ትችላላችሁ፤

through the tender mercy of our god; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
ይህም ከላይ የመጣ ብርሃን በጐበኘበት በአምላካችን ምሕረትና ርኅራኄ ምክንያት ነው፤

and we send down from the sky blessed water whereby we give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops ,
ከሰማይም ብሩክን ውሃ አወረድን ፡ ፡ በእርሱም አትክልቶችንና የሚታጨድን ( አዝመራ ) ፍሬ አበቀልን ፡ ፡

whereby almost the heavens are torn , and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins ,
ከእርሱ ( ከንግግራቸው ) ሰማያት ሊቀደዱ ፣ ምድርም ልትሰነጠቅ ፣ ጋራዎችም ተንደው ሊወድቁ ይቃረባሉ ፡ ፡

whereby the angels ascend unto him and also the spirit , on a day whereof the measure is fifty thousand years .
መላእክቱና መንፈሱም ልኩ አምሳ ሺሕ ዓመት በኾነ ቀን ውስጥ ወደእርሱ ያርጋሉ ፤ ( ይወጣሉ ) ፡ ፡

( whereby ) the angels and the spirit ascend unto him in a day whereof the span is fifty thousand years .
መላእክቱና መንፈሱም ልኩ አምሳ ሺሕ ዓመት በኾነ ቀን ውስጥ ወደእርሱ ያርጋሉ ፤ ( ይወጣሉ ) ፡ ፡

at last his evil soul drove him to the murder of his brother , and he killed him , whereby he himself became one of the losers .
ነፍሱም ወንድሙን መግደልን ለርሱ ሸለመችለት ፤ ( አነሳሳችው ፤ ) ፡ ፡ ገደለውም ፡ ፡ ከከሳሪዎቹም ኾነ ፡ ፡

neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
መዳንም በሌላ በማንም የለም፤ እንድንበት ዘንድ የሚገባን ለሰዎች የተሰጠ ስም ከሰማይ በታች ሌላ የለምና።

and all we relate to you of the tidings of the messengers is that whereby we strengthen your heart and through these the truth has come to you , and anadmonition and a reminder to the believers .
ከመልክተኞቹም ዜናዎች ( ተፈላጊውን ) ሁሉንም ልብህን በርሱ የምናረካበትን እንተርክልሃለን ፡ ፡ በዚህችም ( ሱራ ) እውነቱ ነገር ለምእምናን ግሳጼና ማስታወሻ መጥቶልሃል ፡ ፡

do not covet that whereby god in bounty has preferred one of you above another . to the men a share from what they have earned , and to the women a share from what they have earned .
አላህም ከፊላችሁን በከፊሉ ላይ በእርሱ ያበለጠበትን ጸጋ አትመኙ ፡ ፡ ለወንዶች ከሠሩት ሥራ እድል አላቸው ፡ ፡ ለሴቶችም ከሠሩት ሥራ ዕድል አላቸው ፡ ፡ አላህንም ከችሮታው ለምኑት ፡ ፡ አላህ በነገሩ ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

and all that we relate to thee of the tidings of the messengers is that whereby we strengthen thy heart ; in these there has come to thee the truth and an admonition , and a reminder to the believers .
ከመልክተኞቹም ዜናዎች ( ተፈላጊውን ) ሁሉንም ልብህን በርሱ የምናረካበትን እንተርክልሃለን ፡ ፡ በዚህችም ( ሱራ ) እውነቱ ነገር ለምእምናን ግሳጼና ማስታወሻ መጥቶልሃል ፡ ፡

( ere to that ) you knew neither what the book nor what the faith was . but we made that spirit a light whereby we guide those of our servants whom we please to the right way .
እንደዚሁም ወደ አንተ ከትእዛዛችን ሲኾን መንፈስን ( ቁርኣንን ) አወረድን ፡ ፡ መጽሐፉም እምነቱም ምን እንደኾነ የምታውቅ አልነበርክም ፡ ፡ ግን ( መንፈሱን ) ከባሮቻችን የምንሻውን ሰው በእርሱ የምንመራበት ብርሃን አደረግነው ፡ ፡ አንተም ወደ ቀጥተኛው መንገድ በእርግጥ ትመራለህ ፡ ፡

that is so . and whosoever chastiseth the like of that whereby he was injured , and thereafter he hath been ogain oppressed , surely allah will succour him : verily allah is pardoning , forgiving .
( ነገሩ ) ይህ ነው ፡ ፡ በእሱ በተበደለበትም ብጤ የተበቀለ ሰው ከዚያም በእርሱ ላይ ግፍ የተዋለበት አላህ በእርግጥ ይረዳዋል ፡ ፡ አላህ ይቅር ባይ መሓሪ ነውና ፡ ፡

and get ready against them whatsoever ye can of force and wellfed horses whereby ye may overawe the enemy of allah and your enemy and others besides them whom ye know not allah knoweth them . and whatsoever ye expend in the way of allah shall be repaid to you in full ; and ye shall not be wronged .
ለእነሱም ከማንኛውም ኃይልና ከታጀቡ ፈረሶችም የቻላችሁትን ሁሉ በእርሱ የአላህን ጠላትና ጠላታችሁን ሌሎችንም ከእነርሱ በቀር ያሉትን የማታውቋቸውን አላህ የሚያውቃቸውን ( መናፍቃን ) የምታሸብሩበት ስትኾኑ አዘጋጁላቸው ፡ ፡ ከማንኛውም ነገር በአላህ መንገድ የምትለግሱትም ምንዳው ወደናንተ በሙሉ ይሰጣል ፡ ፡ እናንተም አትበደሉም ፡ ፡

allah has sent down the best discourse , a book , consimilar in its oftrepeated ( verses ) that the skins of those who fear their lord tremble ; and thereafter their skins and hearts soften to the remembrance of allah . such is the guidance of allah , whereby he guides whosoever he will ; and whosoever allah leads astray , he has no guide .
አላህ ከዜና ሁሉ መልካምን ፣ ተመሳሳይ ፣ ተደጋጋሚ የኾነን መጽሐፍ አወረደ ፡ ፡ ከእርሱ ( ግሣጼ ) የእነዚያ ጌታቸውን የሚፈሩት ሰዎች ቆዳዎች ይኮማተራሉ ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ቆዳዎቻቸውና ልቦቻቸው ወደ አላህ ( ተስፋ ) ማስታወስ ይለዝባሉ ፡ ፡ ይህ የአላህ መምሪያ ነው ፡ ፡ በእርሱ የሚሻውን ሰው ይመራበታል ፡ ፡ አላህም የሚያጠመው ሰው ለእርሱ ምንም አቅኚ የለውም ፡ ፡
