vivo ego dicit dominus deus quoniam in manu forti et brachio extento et in furore effuso regnabo super vo
as i live, saith the lord god, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will i rule over you:

cumque interrogaverit te filius tuus cras dicens quid est hoc respondebis ei in manu forti eduxit nos dominus de aegypto de domo servituti

but because the lord loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of pharaoh king of egypt.
