Ահա այդ օրն էր, որ Տէրը բոլոր իսրայէլացիներին հանեց Եգիպտացիների երկրից:
and it came to pass the selfsame day, that the lord did bring the children of israel out of the land of egypt by their armies.

եւ բնակուեց Փառանի անապատում: Մայրը նրա համար Եգիպտացիների երկրից կին առաւ:
and he dwelt in the wilderness of paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of egypt.

Առաւօտեան Տէրը հրի ու ամպի սեան միջով նայեց եգիպտացիների բանակին եւ խուճապի մատնեց եգիպտացիների բանակը.
and it came to pass, that in the morning watch the lord looked unto the host of the egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the egyptians,

Ես կը կարծրացնեմ փարաւոնի սիրտը, բայց եւ կը բազմապատկեմ իմ նշաններն ու զարմանահրաշ գործերը Եգիպտացիների երկրում,
and i will harden pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of egypt.

Եգիպտացիների երկրից իսրայէլացիների դուրս գալուց երեք ամիս անց, առաջին իսկ օրը նրանք հասան Սինայի անապատը:
in the third month, when the children of israel were gone forth out of the land of egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of sinai.

«Ե՛ս եմ քո Տէր Աստուածը, որ քեզ հանեցի Եգիպտացիների երկրից՝ ստրկութեան տնից:
i am the lord thy god, which have brought thee out of the land of egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Այս Ահարոնին ու Մովսէսին էր, որ Աստուած ասաց՝ իսրայէլացիներին հանել իրենց զօրքով հանդերձ Եգիպտացիների երկրից:
these are that aaron and moses, to whom the lord said, bring out the children of israel from the land of egypt according to their armies.

Ահարոնն իր ձեռքը մեկնեց եգիպտացիների ջրերի վրայ ու գորտեր դուրս բերեց: Գորտերն ելան ու ծածկեցին Եգիպտացիների երկիրը:
and aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of egypt.

Եգիպտացիների արքան դիմեց եբրայեցիների մանկաբարձներին. նրանցից մէկի անունը Սեփորա էր, իսկ երկրորդի անունը՝ Փուա: Եւ արքան
and the king of egypt spake to the hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was shiphrah, and the name of the other puah:

Աստուած ծովի կողմից սաստիկ հողմ բարձրացրեց, հողմն առաւ մորեխն ու լցրեց Կարմիր ծովը: Եգիպտացիների ամբողջ երկրում մորեխ չմնաց:
and the lord turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of egypt.

Այդպէս էլ արեցին. Ահարոնն իր գաւազանը մեկնեց ու հարուածեց գետնին: Մժեղ եղաւ մարդկանց, անասունների ու Եգիպտացիների ամբողջ երկրի վրայ:
and they did so; for aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of egypt.

Ամպի սիւնը մտաւ եգիպտացիների ու իսրայէլացիների բանակների միջեւ: Խաւար ու մէգ պատեց: Գիշերն անցաւ, բայց ողջ գիշերը բանակները իրար չմօտեցան:
and it came between the camp of the egyptians and the camp of israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

Եգիպտացիների արքան կանչեց մանկաբարձներին ու ասաց նրանց. «Ինչո՞ւ էք այդպէս վարւում, ինչո՞ւ էք ողջ թողնում արուներին»:
and the king of egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive?

Գիշերը վեր կացան փարաւոնն ինքը, նրա բոլոր պաշտօնեաներն ու բոլոր եգիպտացիները: Եգիպտացիների ամբողջ երկրում մեծ աղաղակ բարձրացաւ, որովհետեւ տուն չկար, որտեղ մեռել չլինէր:
and pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the egyptians; and there was a great cry in egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

Մովսէսն ասաց. «Ընդունուած չէ, որ եգիպտացիների պիղծ անասունները զոհ մատուցենք մեր տէր Աստծուն, քանի որ, եթէ եգիպտացիների պիղծ անասունները զոհ մատուցենք նրան, մեզ կը քարկոծեն:
and moses said, it is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the egyptians to the lord our god: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?

Աբրամի կին Սարան նրան երեխայ չէր պարգեւում: Սարան ունէր մի եգիպտացի աղախին, որի անունն Ագար էր:
now sarai abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an egyptian, whose name was hagar.
