eo quod non servieris domino deo tuo in gaudio cordisque laetitia propter rerum omnium abundantia
because thou servedst not the lord thy god with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;

aperuit dominus thesaurum suum et protulit vasa irae suae quoniam opus est domino deo exercituum in terra chaldeoru
the lord hath opened his armoury, and hath brought forth the weapons of his indignation: for this is the work of the lord god of hosts in the land of the chaldeans.
