and we made the highest part [ of the city ] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay .
ላይዋንም ከታችዋ አደረግን ፡ ፡ በእነሱም ላይ የሸክላ ደንጊያዎችን አዘነብንባቸው ፡ ፡

and part of the night ; bow down before him and magnify him through the long night .
ከሌሊቱም ለእርሱ ስገድ ፡ ፡ በረዢም ሌሊትም አወድሰው ፡ ፡

and for part of the night , prostrate yourself to him , and glorify him long into the night .
ከሌሊቱም ለእርሱ ስገድ ፡ ፡ በረዢም ሌሊትም አወድሰው ፡ ፡

and during the night prostrate to him and exalt him a long [ part of the ] night .
ከሌሊቱም ለእርሱ ስገድ ፡ ፡ በረዢም ሌሊትም አወድሰው ፡ ፡

this is the narrative of truth : there is no god but god . god is the mighty , the wise .
ይህ እርሱ በእርግጥ እውነተኛ ታሪክ ነው ፡ ፡ አምላክም ከአላህ በስተቀር ምንም የለም ፡ ፡ አላህም እርሱ በእርግጥ አሸናፊው ጥበበኛው ነው ፡ ፡

and during part of the night adore him , and give glory to him ( a ) long ( part of the ) night .
ከሌሊቱም ለእርሱ ስገድ ፡ ፡ በረዢም ሌሊትም አወድሰው ፡ ፡

as thy lord brought thee forth from thy house with the truth , and a part of the believers were averse to it ,
( ይህ በዘረፋ ክፍያ የከፊሉ ሰው መጥላት ) ከምእምናን ከፊሉ የጠሉ ሲኾኑ ጌታህ ከቤትህ በእውነት ላይ ኾነህ እንዳወጣህ ነው ፡ ፡

and establish your prayer at the two edges of the day and in part of the night . good deeds will repel evil deeds .
ሶላትንም በቀን ጫፎች ከሌሊትም ክፍሎች ፈጽም ፡ ፡ መልካም ሥራዎች ኀጢአቶችን ያስወገድዳሉና ፡ ፡ ይህ ለተገሳጮች ግሳጼ ነው ፡ ፡

and those who spend [ part of ] the night to their lord prostrating and standing [ in prayer ]
እነዚያም ለጌታቸው በግንባራቸው ተደፊዎችና ቋሚዎች ኾነው የሚያድሩት ናቸው ፡ ፡

and during part of the night , ( also , ) celebrate his praises , and ( so likewise ) after the postures of adoration .
ከሌሊቱም አወድሰው ከስግደቶችም በኋላዎች ( አወድሰው ) ፡ ፡

and from the remote part of the city there came a man running , he said : o my people ! follow the apostles ;
ከከተማይቱም ሩቅ ዳርቻ የሚሮጥ ሰው መጣ ፡ ፡ « ወገኖቼ ሆይ ! መልክተኞቹን ተከተሉ » አለ ፡ ፡

and whether we shew thee part of that which we have promised them , or we take thee away , on thee is only the preaching , and on us is the reckoning .
የዚያንም ያስፈራራናቸውን ከፊሉን ብናሳይህ ( መልካም ነው ) ፡ ፡ ወይም ብንገድልህ ( ወቀሳ የለብህም ) ፡ ፡ በአንተ ላይ ያለብህ ማድረስ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ምርመራውም በኛ ላይ ነው ፡ ፤

a man came running from the farthest part of the city saying , " my people , follow the messengers .
ከከተማይቱም ሩቅ ዳርቻ የሚሮጥ ሰው መጣ ፡ ፡ « ወገኖቼ ሆይ ! መልክተኞቹን ተከተሉ » አለ ፡ ፡

certainly iblis had his conjecture come true about them . so they followed him — all except a part of the faithful .
ኢብሊስም በእነርሱ ላይ ምኞቱን በእርግጥ ፈጸመ ፤ ከአመኑትም የሆኑት ጭፍሮች በስተቀር ተከተሉት ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , do not be deceived by the changing activities of the unbelievers in different parts of the land .
የእነዚያ የካዱት ሰዎች በአገሮች መንፈላሰስ አያታልህ ፡ ፡
