reference no: procurement no-ግ/ጨ/11/2015/ laboratory renovation project/ subject: urgent request for consultant assignment this has reference to our signed agreement for the renovation of mycobacteriology research laboratory negative pressure system as who laboratory standard. the agreement is signed on september 6 2023 and the effective starting date has delayed by for a six weeks duration of supply and construction whereas the current performance is currently only 25% due to the ongoing delay in the assignment of a consultant for the continuous inspection assessments and reviews of the project. the major project portion is the supply and installation of the system. after waiting for almost you know the 16 weeks since the effective date the university has managed to have planned the availability of the experts from the addis ababa a team of inspection and consulting staffs to help move the project to be able perform better. we appreciate the university’s action and accordingly we have arranged a counterpart expert of team to join the vist and inspection team from your side starting the incoming starting tuesday. accordingly, we have prepared and attached (16pages) for a review by the university technical team 1. detailed equipment lists 2. the top roof modification works 3. associated bill of quantity changes so far the absence of a designated consultant presents a significant impact for the projects progress and success. without their expert guidance and regular assessments, we as a company may face potential risks such as missed deadlines, quality control issues and budget overruns unforeseen problems or rework due to inadequate oversight could result for major cost increases and exceeding the project time. thank you for the prompt action taken and understanding reached.
