did the story of moses come to you ,
የሙሳም ወሬ በእርግጥ መጥቶሃል ፡ ፡

certainly the news of the calamity that will overwhelm has come to you !
የሸፋኝቱ ( ትንሣኤ ) ወሬ መጣህን ?

and has there come to you the story of musa ( moses ) ?
የሙሳም ወሬ በእርግጥ መጥቶሃል ፡ ፡

and as to him who comes to you striving hard ,
እየገሰገሰ የመጣህ ሰውማ ፤

and worship your lord until certainty comes to you .
እውነቱም ( ሞት ) እስኪመጣህ ድረስ ጌታህን ተገዛ ፡ ፡

do not defy me , and come to me submissively . ’ ”
« በእኔ ላይ አትኩሩ ፡ ፡ ታዛዦችም ኾናችሁ ወደኔ ኑ ፤ ( የሚል ነው ) ፡ ፡

has not there come to you the story of the hosts ,
የሰራዊቶቹ ወሬ መጣልህን ?

and , “ do not exalt yourselves above god . i come to you with clear authority .
« በአላህም ላይ አትኩሩ ፡ ፡ እኔ ግልጽ የኾነን አስረጅ ያመጣሁላችሁ ነኝና ( በማለት መጣላቸው ) ፡ ፡

" and be not arrogant as against allah : for i come to you with authority manifest .
« በአላህም ላይ አትኩሩ ፡ ፡ እኔ ግልጽ የኾነን አስረጅ ያመጣሁላችሁ ነኝና ( በማለት መጣላቸው ) ፡ ፡

and , ' rise not up against god ; behold , i come to you with a clear authority ,
« በአላህም ላይ አትኩሩ ፡ ፡ እኔ ግልጽ የኾነን አስረጅ ያመጣሁላችሁ ነኝና ( በማለት መጣላቸው ) ፡ ፡

" let no needy person come to you within it today . "
ዛሬ በእናንተ ላይ ድኻ እንዳይገባት በማለት ፡ ፡

and serve your lord until there comes to you that which is certain .
እውነቱም ( ሞት ) እስኪመጣህ ድረስ ጌታህን ተገዛ ፡ ፡

but as for one who comes to you , eagerly
እየገሰገሰ የመጣህ ሰውማ ፤

and worship your lord until what is certain [ death ] comes to you .
እውነቱም ( ሞት ) እስኪመጣህ ድረስ ጌታህን ተገዛ ፡ ፡

and worship your lord until there comes to you the certainty ( death ) .
እውነቱም ( ሞት ) እስኪመጣህ ድረስ ጌታህን ተገዛ ፡ ፡

" and exalt not ( yourselves ) against allah . truly , i have come to you with a manifest authority .
« በአላህም ላይ አትኩሩ ፡ ፡ እኔ ግልጽ የኾነን አስረጅ ያመጣሁላችሁ ነኝና ( በማለት መጣላቸው ) ፡ ፡

whatever argument they come to you with , we provide you with the truth , and a better exposition .
በጥያቄም አይመጡብህም እውነተኛውን ( መልስ ) መልካምን ፍችም የምናመጣልህ ብንኾን እንጅ ፡ ፡
