and you did not veil yourselves lest your ears and your eyes and your skins should bear witness against you , but you thought that allah did not know most of what you did .
ጆሮዎቻችሁ ዓይኖቻችሁና ቆዳዎቻችሁም በእናንተ ላይ ከመመስከራቸው የምትደበቁ አልነበራችሁም ፡ ፡ ግን አላህ ከምትሠሩት ብዙውን አያውቅም ብላችሁ ጠረጠራችሁ ፡ ፡

and those who are given knowledge and faith will say : certainly you tarried according to the ordinance of allah till the day of resurrection , so this is the day of resurrection , but you did not know .
እነዚያንም ዕውቀትንና እምነትን የተሰጡት « በአላህ መጽሐፍ ( ፍርድ ) እስከ ትንሣኤ ቀን በእርግጥ ቆያችሁ ፡ ፡ ይህም ( የካዳችሁት ) የትንሣኤ ቀን ነው ፡ ፡ ግን እናንተ የማታውቁ ነበራችሁ » ይሏቸዋል ፡ ፡

and said those who received knowledge and faith , “ you have indeed stayed in the decree of allah until the day of restoration ; so this is the day of restoration , but you did not know . ”
እነዚያንም ዕውቀትንና እምነትን የተሰጡት « በአላህ መጽሐፍ ( ፍርድ ) እስከ ትንሣኤ ቀን በእርግጥ ቆያችሁ ፡ ፡ ይህም ( የካዳችሁት ) የትንሣኤ ቀን ነው ፡ ፡ ግን እናንተ የማታውቁ ነበራችሁ » ይሏቸዋል ፡ ፡

but those who have been given knowledge and faith shall say , ' you have tarried in god 's book till the day of the upraising , this is the day of the upraising , but you did not know . '
እነዚያንም ዕውቀትንና እምነትን የተሰጡት « በአላህ መጽሐፍ ( ፍርድ ) እስከ ትንሣኤ ቀን በእርግጥ ቆያችሁ ፡ ፡ ይህም ( የካዳችሁት ) የትንሣኤ ቀን ነው ፡ ፡ ግን እናንተ የማታውቁ ነበራችሁ » ይሏቸዋል ፡ ፡

but those who were given knowledge and faith will say , " you remained the extent of allah ' s decree until the day of resurrection , and this is the day of resurrection , but you did not used to know . "
እነዚያንም ዕውቀትንና እምነትን የተሰጡት « በአላህ መጽሐፍ ( ፍርድ ) እስከ ትንሣኤ ቀን በእርግጥ ቆያችሁ ፡ ፡ ይህም ( የካዳችሁት ) የትንሣኤ ቀን ነው ፡ ፡ ግን እናንተ የማታውቁ ነበራችሁ » ይሏቸዋል ፡ ፡

those who have received knowledge and have faith will say , " by the decree of god , you have remained for the exact period which was mentioned in the book of god about the day of resurrection . this is the day of resurrection , but you did not know . "
እነዚያንም ዕውቀትንና እምነትን የተሰጡት « በአላህ መጽሐፍ ( ፍርድ ) እስከ ትንሣኤ ቀን በእርግጥ ቆያችሁ ፡ ፡ ይህም ( የካዳችሁት ) የትንሣኤ ቀን ነው ፡ ፡ ግን እናንተ የማታውቁ ነበራችሁ » ይሏቸዋል ፡ ፡

you did not use to conceal yourselves [ while perpetrating sinful acts ] lest your hearing , your eyes , or your skins should bear witness against you , but you thought that allah did not know most of what you did .
ጆሮዎቻችሁ ዓይኖቻችሁና ቆዳዎቻችሁም በእናንተ ላይ ከመመስከራቸው የምትደበቁ አልነበራችሁም ፡ ፡ ግን አላህ ከምትሠሩት ብዙውን አያውቅም ብላችሁ ጠረጠራችሁ ፡ ፡

joseph had indeed come to you before with clear proofs , but you did not cease to doubt what he had brought until he died , when you said : ' god will not send a prophet after him . ' that is how god leads the waster , the sceptic astray .
ዩሱፍም ከዚህ በፊት ግልጽ ማስረጃዎችን በእርግጥ አመጣላቸሁ ፡ ፡ ከዚያም እርሱ ካመጣላችሁ ነገር ከመጠራጠር አልተወገዳችሁም ፡ ፡ በጠፋም ጊዜ « አላህ ከእርሱ ኋላ መልክተኛን በጭራሽ አይልክም » አላችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህ እንደዚሁ ድንበር አላፊ ተጠራጣሪ የኾነን ሰው ያሳስታል ፡ ፡
