and hath the tidings of the contending parties reached thee , when they walled the apartment ?
የተከራካሪዎቹም ወሬ መጥቶልሃልን ? ምኩራቡን በተንጠላጠሉ ጊዜ ፡ ፡

and samood and the people of lut and the dwellers of the thicket ; these were the parties .
ሰሙድም ፣ የሉጥ ሰዎችም ፣ የአይከት ሰዎችም ( አስተባበሉ ) ፡ ፡ እነዚህ አሕዛቦቹ ናቸው ፡ ፡

and then roused them so that we might see which of the two parties could best tell the length of their stay .
ከዚያም ከሁለቱ ክፍሎች ለቆዩት ጊዜ ልክ ያረጋገጠው ማንኛው መሆኑን ልናውቅ አስነሳናቸው ፡ ፡

and afterward we raised them up that we might know which of the two parties would best calculate the time that they had tarried .
ከዚያም ከሁለቱ ክፍሎች ለቆዩት ጊዜ ልክ ያረጋገጠው ማንኛው መሆኑን ልናውቅ አስነሳናቸው ፡ ፡

then said he who believed , ' my people , truly i fear for you the like of the day of the parties ,
ያም ያመነው ሰው አለ « እኔ በናንተ ላይ የአሕዛቦቹን ቀን ብጤ እፈራላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡

and he who believed said : o my people ! surely i fear for you the like of what befell the parties :
ያም ያመነው ሰው አለ « እኔ በናንተ ላይ የአሕዛቦቹን ቀን ብጤ እፈራላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡

afterwards . we raised them up again , that we might know which of the two parties would better calculate the while they had tarried .
ከዚያም ከሁለቱ ክፍሎች ለቆዩት ጊዜ ልክ ያረጋገጠው ማንኛው መሆኑን ልናውቅ አስነሳናቸው ፡ ፡

he who had faith said : “ my people , i fear that you will confront a day like that which overtook many parties before you ,
ያም ያመነው ሰው አለ « እኔ በናንተ ላይ የአሕዛቦቹን ቀን ብጤ እፈራላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡

and assuredly we sent unto the thamud their brother saleh saying : worship allah . then lo ! they became two parties contending .
ወደ ሰሙድም ወንድማቸውን ሷሊሕን አላህን ተገዙ በማለት በእርግጥ ላክነው ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም እነሱ የሚነታረኩ ሁለት ጭፍሮች ኾኑ ፡ ፡

and indeed we sent to the thamud , their fellowman saleh that , “ worship allah ” , thereupon they became two parties quarrelling .
ወደ ሰሙድም ወንድማቸውን ሷሊሕን አላህን ተገዙ በማለት በእርግጥ ላክነው ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም እነሱ የሚነታረኩ ሁለት ጭፍሮች ኾኑ ፡ ፡

lest you should say , ' the book was sent down only upon two parties before us , and we have indeed been heedless of their study ' ;
« ( ያወረድነውም ) መጽሐፍ የተወረደው ከፊታችን በሁለቱ ጭፍሮች ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ እኛም ከንባባቸው ዘንጊዎች ነበርን » እንዳትሉ ነው ፡ ፡

and we verily sent unto thamud their brother salih , saying : worship allah . and lo ! they ( then became two parties quarrelling .
ወደ ሰሙድም ወንድማቸውን ሷሊሕን አላህን ተገዙ በማለት በእርግጥ ላክነው ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም እነሱ የሚነታረኩ ሁለት ጭፍሮች ኾኑ ፡ ፡
