እነዚያ ክህደትን በእምነት የለወጡ አላህን በምንም ነገር ፈጽሞ አይጎዱትም ፡ ፡ ለእነሱም አሳማሚ ቅጣት አላቸው ፡ ፡

have you not seen the people who were given a share of the book , but who purchased only error , and wish that you also go astray ?
ወደነዚያ ከመጽሐፉ ( ዕውቀት ) ዕድልን ወደ ተሰጡት አላየህምን ጥመትን ( በቅንነት ) ይገዛሉ ፡ ፡ መንገድንም እንድትሳሳቱ ይፈልጋሉ ፡ ፡

these are the people who purchased error in exchange of guidance – so their bargain did not profit them , and they did not know how to trade .
እነዚህ እነዚያ ስህተትን በቅንነት የገዙ ናቸው ፡ ፡ ንግዳቸውም አላተረፈችም ፤ ቀጥተኞችም አልኾኑም ፡ ፡

have you not seen those to whom a portion of the book was given ? they purchased error for themselves , and wish that you too lose the right way ?
ወደነዚያ ከመጽሐፉ ( ዕውቀት ) ዕድልን ወደ ተሰጡት አላየህምን ጥመትን ( በቅንነት ) ይገዛሉ ፡ ፡ መንገድንም እንድትሳሳቱ ይፈልጋሉ ፡ ፡

god has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties in exchange for paradise . they fight in god s way ’ , and they kill and get killed .
አላህ ከምእምናን ነፍሶቻቸውንና ገንዘቦቻቸውን ገነት ለእነሱ ብቻ ያላቸው በመኾን ገዛቸው ፡ ፡ በአላህ መንገድ ላይ ይጋደላሉ ፡ ፡ ይገድላሉም ፤ ይገደላሉም ፡ ፡ በተውራት በኢንጅልና በቁርኣንም ( የተነገረውን ) ተስፋ በእርሱ ላይ አረጋገጠ ፡ ፡ ከአላህም የበለጠ በኪዳኑ የሚሞላ ማነው በዚያም በእርሱ በተሻሻጣችሁበት ሽያጫችሁ ተደሰቱ ፡ ፡ ይህም እርሱ ታላቅ ዕድል ነው ፡ ፡

those are the ones who have purchased error [ in exchange ] for guidance , so their transaction has brought no profit , nor were they guided .
እነዚህ እነዚያ ስህተትን በቅንነት የገዙ ናቸው ፡ ፡ ንግዳቸውም አላተረፈችም ፤ ቀጥተኞችም አልኾኑም ፡ ፡

let them wherefore fight in the way of allah those who have purchased the life of this world for the hereafter : and whosoever fighteth in the way of allah , and is then slain or overcometh , we shall vouchsafe unto him a mighty hire .
እነዚያም ቅርቧን ሕይወት በመጨረሻይቱ ሕይወት የሚለውጡ በአላህ መንገድ ይጋደሉ ፡ ፡ በአላህም መንገድ የሚጋደል ፣ የሚገደልም ወይም የሚያሸንፍ ታላቅ ምንዳን በእርግጥ እንሰጠዋለን ፡ ፡

( and remember ) when allah took a covenant from those who were given the scripture ( jews and christians ) to make it ( the news of the coming of prophet muhammad saw and the religious knowledge ) known and clear to mankind , and not to hide it , but they threw it away behind their backs , and purchased with it some miserable gain ! and indeed worst is that which they bought .
አላህ የነዚያን መጽሐፉን የተሰጡትን ቃል ኪዳን ለሰዎች በእርግጥ ታብራሩታላችሁ አትደብቁትምም በማለት የያዘባቸውን ( አስታውሱ ) ፡ ፡ በጀርባዎቻቸውም ኋላ ጣሉት ፡ ፡ በርሱም ጥቂትን ዋጋ ገዙ ፡ ፡ የሚገዙትም ነገር ከፋ !
