« ይህም ቁርኣን ከሁለቱ ከተሞች በታላቅ ሰው ላይ አይወረድም ኖሯልን ? » አሉ ፡ ፡

" have you come , " said they , " to turn us back from what we found our ancestors doing , so that the two of you may attain supremacy in the land ? we shall not believe in what you say .
( እነርሱም ) አሉ ፡ - « አባቶቻችንን በእርሱ ላይ ካገኘንበት ሃይማኖት ልታዞረን ለእናንተም በምድር ውስጥ ኩራት ( ሹመት ) ልትኖራችሁ መጣህብን እኛም ለእናንተ አማኞች አይደለንም ፡ ፡ »

they say , ' why was this koran not sent down upon some man of moment in the two cities ? '
« ይህም ቁርኣን ከሁለቱ ከተሞች በታላቅ ሰው ላይ አይወረድም ኖሯልን ? » አሉ ፡ ፡

say , ‘ is it the two males that he has forbidden or the two females , or what is contained in the wombs of the two females ? inform me with knowledge , should you be truthful . ’
ስምንትን ዓይነቶች ከበግ ሁለትን ( ወንድና ሴትን ) ከፍየልም ሁለትን ( ፈጠረ ) ፡ ፡ « ከሁለቱም ክፍሎች አላህ ወንዶቹን እርም አደረገን ወይስ ሴቶቹን ወይስ በርሱ ላይ የሁለቱ ሴቶች ማሕፀኖች ያጠቃለሉትን እውነተኞች እንደሆናችሁ በዕውቀት ( በአስረጅ ) ንገሩኝ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and he said to him whom he knew would be delivered of the two : remember me with your lord ; but the shaitan caused him to forget mentioning ( it ) to his lord , so he remained in the prison a few years .
