i have mad respect to you
ለአንተ እብድ አክብሮት አለኝ

which is neither cool nor is for respect .
ቀዝቃዛም መልካምም ያልኾነ ፡ ፡

for there is no respect of persons with god.
እግዚአብሔር ለሰው ፊት አያዳላምና።

and those who respect their trusts and covenants ;
እነዚያም እነርሱ አደራዎቻቸውንና ቃል ኪዳናቸውን ጠባቂዎች የኾኑት ፡ ፡

በሚዛን ( ስትመዝኑ ) እንዳትበድሉ ፡ ፡

to respect the symbols of god is the sign of a pious heart .
( ነገሩ ) ይህ ነው ፡ ፡ የአላህንም የሃይማኖት ምልክቶች የሚያከብር ሰው እርሷ ከልቦች የኾነች ጥንቃቄ ናት ፡ ፡

towards a believer they respect neither kinship nor treaty . these are the transgressors .
በምእምን ነገር ዝምድናንም ኪዳንንም አይጠብቁም ፤ እነዚያም እነሱ ወሰን አላፊዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

and certainly our word has already gone forth in respect of our servants , the apostles :
( የእርዳታ ) ቃላችንም መልክተኞች ለሆኑት ባሮቻችን በእውነት አልፋለች ፡ ፡

and those who dispute in respect of our revelations may know that for them there is a place of shelter .
( ከእነርሱ ለመበቀል ) ፤ እነዚያንም በአንቀጾቻችን የሚከራከሩትን ለማወቅ ( ያጠፋቸዋል ) ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱ ምንም መሸሻ የላቸውም ፡ ፡

and whosesoever balances will be light - those are they who have lost themselves in respect of our signs .
ሚዛኖቻቸው የቀለሉባቸው ሰዎችም እነዚያ እነርሱ ተአምራቶቻችንን ይክዱ በነበሩት ምክንያት ነፍሶቻቸውን ያከሰሩ ናቸው ፡ ፡

and how many of the generations have we destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance !
ከእነሱም በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች እነሱ በቁሳቁስና በትርኢትም በጣም ያማሩትን ብዙዎችን አጥፍተናል ፡ ፡

and those who endeavour in respect of our signs to frustrate them- those shall be the fellows of flaming fire .
እነዚያም የሚያመልጡ መስሏቸው ተዓምራቶቻችንን በመንቀፍ የተጉ እነሱ የእሳት ጓዶች ናቸው ፡ ፡

in respect of the muslims , they do not keep regard for any relations nor any pacts ; it is they who are the rebels .
በምእምን ነገር ዝምድናንም ኪዳንንም አይጠብቁም ፤ እነዚያም እነሱ ወሰን አላፊዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

and if we willed we could withdraw that which we have revealed unto thee , then wouldst thou find no guardian for thee against us in respect thereof .
ብንሻም ያንን ወዳንተ ያወረድነውን በእርግጥ እናስወግዳለን ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ላንተ በእኛ ላይ በርሱ ( ለማስመለስ ) ተያዢን አታገኝም ፡ ፡

they said : we will strive to make his father yield in respect of him , and we are sure to do ( it ) .
« ስለእርሱ አባቱን በጥብቅ እንጠይቃለን ፡ ፡ እኛም ( ይህንን ) በእርግጥ ሠሪዎች ነን » አሉት ፡ ፡

allah and his angels send blessings on the prophet : o ye that believe ! send ye blessings on him , and salute him with all respect .
አላህና መላእክቱ በነቢዩ ላይ የአክብሮት እዝነትን ያወርዳሉ ፡ ፡ እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! በእርሱ ላይ የአክብሮት እዝነትን አውርዱ ፡ ፡ የማክበርንም ሰላምታ ሰላም በሉ ፡ ፡

and he had fruit . and he said unto his comrade , when he spake with him : i am more than thee in wealth , and stronger in respect of men .
ለእርሱም ( ከአትክልቶቹ ሌላ ፍሬያማ ) ሀብት ነበረው ፡ ፡ ለጓደኛውም ( ለአማኙ ) እርሱ የሚወዳደረው ሲኾን « እኔ ካንተ በገንዘብ ይበልጥ የበዛሁ በወገንም ይበልጥ የበረታሁ ነኝ » አለው ፡ ፡

( such has been ) the course of allah with respect to those who have gone before ; and you shall not find any change in the course of allah .
( ይህቺ ) በእነዚያ በፊት ባለፉት ( ላይ የደነገጋት ) የአላህ ድንጋጌ ናት ፡ ፡ ለአላህም ድንጋጌ ፈጽሞ መለወጥን አታገኝም ፡ ፡

and he entered his garden , while he was a wrong-doer in respect of his own soul ; he said : i imagine not that this shall ever perish .
እርሱም ነፍሱን በዳይ ኾኖ ወደ አትክልቱ ገባ ፡ ፡ « ይህች ዘለዓለም ትጠፋለች ብዬ አልጠረጥርም » አለ ፡ ፡

and make the ark before our eyes and ( according to ) our revelation , and do not speak to me in respect of those who are unjust ; surely they shall be drowned .
( አላህም ) « በጥበቃችንና በትእዛዛችንም ሆነህ መርከቢቱን ሥራ ፡ ፡ በእነዚያም በበደሉት ሰዎች ነገር አታናግረኝ እነሱ በእርግጥ ሰማጮች ናቸውና » ( አለው ) ፡ ፡
