a parable of those who defy their lord : their deeds are like ashes over which the wind blows hard on a tempestuous day : they have no power over anything they have earned . that is extreme error .
የእነዚያ በጌታቸው የካዱት ሰዎች ምሳሌ ( መልካም ) ሥራዎቻቸው በነፋሻ ቀን ነፋስ በርሱ እንደ በረታችበት አመድ ነው ፡ ፡ በሠሩት ሥራ በምንም ላይ ( ሊጠቀሙ ) አይችሉም ፡ ፡ ይህ እርሱ ሩቅ ጥፋት ነው ፡ ፡

he it is who enableth you to travel by land and sea until when ye are in ships and they run away with them with a goodly wind and they rejoice thereat , there cometh upon them a tempestuous wind and there cometh unto them a billow from every side , and they imagine that they are encompassed therein , they cry unto allah making there faith pure for him : if thou deliverest us from this. we would surely be of those who are thankful .
እርሱ ( አላህ ) ያ በየብስና በባሕር የሚያስኬዳችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ በመርከቦችም ውስጥ በሆናችሁና በእነርሱም በመልካም ነፋስ በርሷ የተደሰቱ ኾነው ( መርከቦቹ ) በተንሻለሉ ጊዜ ኀይለኛ ነፋስ ትመጣባታለች ፡ ፡ ከየስፍራውም ማዕበል ይመጣባቸዋል ፡ ፡ እነሱም ( ለጥፋት ) የተከበቡ መሆናቸውን ያረጋግጣሉ ፡ ፡ ( ያን ጊዜ ) አላህን ከዚህች ( ጭንቀት ) ብታድነን በእርግጥ ከአመስጋኞቹ እንሆናለን ሲሉ ሃይማኖትን ለርሱ ብቻ ያጠሩ ሆነው ይለምኑታል ፡ ፡
