unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight .
ከናንተ ቀጥተኛ መኾንን ለሻ ሰው ( መገሰጫ ነው ) ፡ ፡

to whomsoever among you who wills to walk straight ,
ከናንተ ቀጥተኛ መኾንን ለሻ ሰው ( መገሰጫ ነው ) ፡ ፡

now at that feast he released unto them one prisoner, whomsoever they desired.
በዚያም በዓል የለመኑትን አንድ እስረኛ ይፈታላቸው ነበር።

and thus we have sent it down as evidences , and verily allah guideth whomsoever he intendeth .
እንደዚሁም ( ቁርኣንን ) የተብራሩ አንቀጾች አድርገን አወረድነው ፡ ፡ አላህም የሚሻውን ሰው ይመራል ፡ ፡

and whomsoever we grant long life , we reverse him in creation . reflect then they not ?
ዕድሜውንም የምናረዝመውን ሰው በፍጥረቱ ( ወደ ደካማነት ) እንመልሰዋለን ፤ አያውቁምን ?

his are the keys of the heavens and the earth . he expandeth provision for whomsoever he will and stinteth .
የሰማያትና የምድር ( ድልቦች ) መከፈቻዎች የእርሱ ናቸው ፡ ፡ ሲሳይን ለሚሻው ሰው ያሰፋል ፤ ያጠባልም ፡ ፡ እርሱ ነገሩን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነውና ፡ ፡

and god summons to the abode of peace , and he guides whomsoever he will to to a straight path ;
አላህም ወደ ሰላም አገር ይጠራል ፡ ፡ የሚሻውንም ሰው ወደ ቀጥተኛው መንገድ ይመራል ፡ ፡

allah outspreads and restricts his provision to whomsoever he will of his worshipers . allah has knowledge of all things .
አላህ ከባሮቹ ለሚሻው ሲሳይን ያሰፋል ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም ያጠብባል ፡ ፡ አላህ በነገሩ ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነውና ፡ ፡

allah expandeth provision for whomsoever he will of his bondmen and stinteth it for him . verily allah is of everything the knower .
አላህ ከባሮቹ ለሚሻው ሲሳይን ያሰፋል ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም ያጠብባል ፡ ፡ አላህ በነገሩ ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነውና ፡ ፡

allah is gentle unto his bondmen : he provideth for whomsoever he will , and he is the strong , the mighty .
አላህ በባሮቹ ሩህሩህ ነው ፡ ፡ ለሚሻው ሰው ( በሰፊው ) ሲሳይን ይሰጣል ፡ ፡ እርሱም ብርቱው አሸናፊው ነው ፡ ፡

allah is most gentle to his servants and grants sustenance to whomsoever he pleases . he is all-strong , most mighty .
አላህ በባሮቹ ሩህሩህ ነው ፡ ፡ ለሚሻው ሰው ( በሰፊው ) ሲሳይን ይሰጣል ፡ ፡ እርሱም ብርቱው አሸናፊው ነው ፡ ፡

and he will take away the rage of their hearts . and allah will relent toward whomsoever he liketh ; and allah is knowing , wise .
የልቦቻችሁንም ቁጭት ያስወግዳል ፡ ፡ አላህም ከሚሻው ሰው ላይ ጸጸትን ይቀበላል ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

allah 's is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth . he forgiveth whomsoever he listeth , and tormenteth whomsoever he listeth .
በሰማያት ያለው በምድርም ያለው ሁሉ የአላህ ነው ፡ ፡ ለሚሻው ሰው ይምራል ፤ የሚሻውንም ሰው ይቀጣል ፡ ፡ አላህም መሓሪ አዛኝ ነው ፡ ፡

and this was our argument which we vouchsafed unto ibrahim against his people . we raise in degrees whomsoever we list ; verily thy lord is wise , knowing .
ይህችም ማስረጃችን ናት ፡ ፡ ለኢብራሂም በሕዝቦቹ ላይ ( አስረጅ እንድትኾን ) ሰጠናት ፡ ፡ የምንሻውን ሰው በደረጃዎች ከፍ እናደርጋለን ፡ ፡ ጌታህ ጥበበኛ ዐዋቂ ነውና ፡ ፡

and guard them against evil deeds ; whomsoever thou guardest against evil deeds on that day , on him thou hast had mercy ; and that is indeed the mighty triumph .
« ከቅጣቶችም ጠብቃቸው ፡ ፡ በዚያ ቀንም የምትጠብቃውን ሰው በእርግጥ አዘንክለት ፡ ፡ » ይህም እርሱ ታላቅ ማግኘት ነው ፡ ፡

and allah 's is the dominion of the heavens and the earth . he forgiveth whomsoever he will and tormenteth whomsoever he will ; and allah is ever forgiving , merciful .
የሰማያትና የምድር ንግሥናም የአላህ ነው ፡ ፡ ለሚሻው ሰው ይምራል ፤ የሚሻውንም ይቀጣል ፡ ፡ አላህም መሓሪ አዛኝ ነው ፡ ፡

thou plungest night into day and thou plungest day into night , and thou bringest forth the living from the lifeless , and thou bringest forth the lifeless from the living ; and thou providest for whomsoever thou wilt without reckoning .
ሌሊቱን በቀን ውስጥ ታስገባለህ ፡ ፡ ቀኑንም በሌሊቱ ውስጥ ታስገባለህ ፡ ፡ ሕያውንም ከሙት ውስጥ ታወጣለህ ፡ ፡ ሙትንም ከሕያው ውስጥ ታወጣለህ ፡ ፡ ለምትሻውም ሰው ያለግምት ትሰጣለህ ፡ ፡

you make the night succeed the day , the day succeed the night , raise the living from the dead , the dead from the living , and give whomsoever you please , and in measure without number . "
ሌሊቱን በቀን ውስጥ ታስገባለህ ፡ ፡ ቀኑንም በሌሊቱ ውስጥ ታስገባለህ ፡ ፡ ሕያውንም ከሙት ውስጥ ታወጣለህ ፡ ፡ ሙትንም ከሕያው ውስጥ ታወጣለህ ፡ ፡ ለምትሻውም ሰው ያለግምት ትሰጣለህ ፡ ፡

" prostrate yourselves before the merciful , " they retort , " what is the merciful ? would you have us prostrate ourselves before whomsoever you will ? "
ለእነርሱም ለአልረሕማን ስገዱ በተባሉ ጊዜ አልረሕማን ማነው ለምታዘን ( እና ለማናውቀው ) እንሰግዳለን ይላሉ ፡ ፡ ( ይህ ) መራቅንም ጨመራቸው ፡ ፡
