stay were you heart smiles
ቆይ አንተ የልብ ፈገግታ ነበር

indeed , were you to know with certain knowledge ,
በእውነቱ ( የሚጠብቃችሁን ) እርግጠኛ ዕውቀትን ብታውቁ ኖሮ ፤ ( ባልዘናጋችሁ ነበር ) ፡ ፡

indeed , were you to know the truth with certainty ,
በእውነቱ ( የሚጠብቃችሁን ) እርግጠኛ ዕውቀትን ብታውቁ ኖሮ ፤ ( ባልዘናጋችሁ ነበር ) ፡ ፡

their account falls only upon my lord , were you but aware .
« ምርመራቸው በጌታዬ ላይ እንጅ በሌላ ላይ አይደለም ፡ ፡ ብታውቁ ኖሮ ( ይህንን ትርረዱ ነበር ) ፡ ፡

from wherever you emerge , turn your face towards the sacred mosque . this is surely the truth from your lord .
ከየትም ( ለጉዞ ) ከወጣህበት ስፍራ ፊትሀን ወደ ተከበረው መስጊድ አግጣጫ አዙር ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከጌታህ የኾነ እርግጠኛ እውነት ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ከምትሠሩት ሥራ ዘንጊ አይደለም ፡ ፡

and were you to die or be slain , it is to allah that you will all be mustered .
ብትሞቱም ወይም ብትገደሉ በእርግጥ ወደ አላህ ብቻ ትሰበሰባላችሁ ፡ ፡

and wherever you come from , turn your face towards the sacred mosque . this is the truth from your lord , and god is not heedless of what you do .
ከየትም ( ለጉዞ ) ከወጣህበት ስፍራ ፊትሀን ወደ ተከበረው መስጊድ አግጣጫ አዙር ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከጌታህ የኾነ እርግጠኛ እውነት ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ከምትሠሩት ሥራ ዘንጊ አይደለም ፡ ፡

whencesoever you may go out , turn your face towards the holy mosque . indeed it is the truth from your lord , and allah is not oblivious of what you do .
ከየትም ( ለጉዞ ) ከወጣህበት ስፍራ ፊትሀን ወደ ተከበረው መስጊድ አግጣጫ አዙር ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከጌታህ የኾነ እርግጠኛ እውነት ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ከምትሠሩት ሥራ ዘንጊ አይደለም ፡ ፡

and , set your face towards the religion , being of pure faith , and do not be among the idolaters .
ፊትህንም ( ወደ ቀጥታ ) ያዘነበልክ ስትሆን ለሃይማኖት ቀጥ አድርግ ፡ ፡ ከአጋሪዎቹም አትሁን ፡ ፡

were you to see them when they will be stricken with terror , without any escape , and are seized from a close quarter .
በደነገጡና ማምለጫ በሌላቸው ጊዜ ከቅርብ ስፍራም በተያዙ ጊዜ ( ኹኔታቸውን ) ብታይ ኖሮ ( አስደናቂን ነገር ባየህ ነበር ) ፡ ፡

and from whatsoever place you come forth , turn your face towards the sacred mosque ; and surely it is the very truth from your lord , and allah is not at all heedless of what you do .
ከየትም ( ለጉዞ ) ከወጣህበት ስፍራ ፊትሀን ወደ ተከበረው መስጊድ አግጣጫ አዙር ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከጌታህ የኾነ እርግጠኛ እውነት ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ከምትሠሩት ሥራ ዘንጊ አይደለም ፡ ፡

but we established many generations , and time took its toll on them . nor were you among the people of median , reciting our revelations to them .
ግን እኛ ( ከእርሱ በኋላ ) የክፍለ ዘመናትን ሰዎች አስገኘን ፡ ፡ በእነሱም ላይ ዕድሜዎች ተራዘሙ ፡ ፡ በመድየንም ሰዎች ውስጥ ተቀማጭ በእነሱ ላይ አንቀጾቻችን የምታነብ አልነበርክም ፡ ፡ ግን እኛ ላኪዎችህ ኾንን ፡ ፡

believers ! were you to obey a party of those who were given the book , they might cause you to renounce the truth after you have attained to faith .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ከነዚያ መጽሐፉን ከተሰጡት ሰዎች ከፊሉን ብትታዘዙ ከእምነታችሁ በኋላ ከሓዲዎች አድርገው ይመልሱዋችኋል ፡ ፡

" and turn not your face away from men with pride , nor walk in insolence through the earth . verily , allah likes not each arrogant boaster .
« ጉንጭህንም ( በኩራት ) ከሰዎች አታዙር ፡ ፡ በምድርም ላይ ተንበጥርረህ አትሂድ ፡ ፡ አላህ ተንበጥራሪን ጉረኛን ሁሉ አይወድምና ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , wherever you go , turn your face towards the sacred mosque ( in mecca ) . this is the truth from your lord who is not unaware of what you do
ከየትም ( ለጉዞ ) ከወጣህበት ስፍራ ፊትሀን ወደ ተከበረው መስጊድ አግጣጫ አዙር ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከጌታህ የኾነ እርግጠኛ እውነት ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ከምትሠሩት ሥራ ዘንጊ አይደለም ፡ ፡

and do not turn your face away from people in contempt , nor go about in the land exulting overmuch ; surely allah does not love any self-conceited boaster ;
« ጉንጭህንም ( በኩራት ) ከሰዎች አታዙር ፡ ፡ በምድርም ላይ ተንበጥርረህ አትሂድ ፡ ፡ አላህ ተንበጥራሪን ጉረኛን ሁሉ አይወድምና ፡ ፡

set your faces in every place of worship and call on him , making your religion sincerely his . as he originated you so you will return ;
ጌታዬ በማስተካከል አዘዘ ፡ ፡ በየመስጊዱም ዘንድ ፊቶቻችሁን ( እርሱን ለመገዛት ) አስተካክሉ ፡ ፡ ሃይማኖትንም ለእርሱ ፍጹም አድርጋችሁ ተገዙት ፡ ፡ እንደጀመራችሁ ትመለሳላችሁ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

( o prophet and his followers ) , turn your face singlemindedly to the true faith and adhere to the true nature on which allah has created human beings . the mould fashioned by allah cannot be altered .
ወደ እውነት ተዘንባይ ኾነህም ፊትህን ለሃይማኖት ቀጥ አድርግ ፡ ፡ የአላህን ፍጥረት ያችን አላህ ሰዎችን በእርስዋ ላይ የፈጠረባትን ( ሃይማኖት ያዟት ) ፡ ፡ የአላህን ፍጥረት መለወጥ የለም ፡ ፡ ይህ ቀጥተኛ ሃይማኖት ነው ፡ ፡ ግን አብዛኛዎቹ ሰዎች አያውቁም ፡ ፡
