as are not diverted by trade and merchandise from remembering him and from establishing salat and paying zakat , for they fear the day when the hearts will be overturned and the eyes will become petrified .
এমন লোকেরা , যাদেরকে ব ্ যবসা-বাণিজ ্ য ও ক ্ রয়-বিক ্ রয় আল ্ লাহর স ্ মরণ থেকে , নামায কায়েম করা থেকে এবং যাকাত প ্ রদান করা থেকে বিরত রাখে না । তারা ভয় করে সেই দিনকে , যেদিন অন ্ তর ও দৃষ ্ টিসমূহ উল ্ টে যাবে ।

warn them of the approaching day , when the hearts will be at the throats , choking with suppressed agony , the wrongdoers will have no sympathizer , nor any intercessor who might be heard .
আপনি তাদেরকে আসন ্ ন দিন সম ্ পর ্ কে সতর ্ ক করুন , যখন প ্ রাণ কন ্ ঠাগত হবে , দম বন ্ ধ হওয়ার উপক ্ রম হবে । পাপিষ ্ ঠদের জন ্ যে কোন বন ্ ধু নেই এবং সুপারিশকারীও নেই ; যার সুপারিশ গ ্ রাহ ্ য হবে ।

warn them against the imminent day when , choking with anguish , the hearts will be in their throats , the harmdoers will not have a single , loyal friend , and there will be no intercessor to be obeyed .

and warn them ( o muhammad saw ) of the day that is drawing near ( i.e. the day of resurrection ) , when the hearts will be choking the throats , and they can neither return them ( hearts ) to their chests nor can they throw them out . there will be no friend , nor an intercessor for the zalimun ( polytheists and wrong-doers , etc . ) , who could be given heed to .
