जिसे हमने यक़ीनन ज़ालिमों की आज़माइश के लिए बनाया है

जिन पर तुम्हारे परवरदिगार की तरफ से निशान बनाए हुए थे और वह बस्ती ज़ालिमों से कुछ दूर नहीं

and when your lord called musa : " go to the people who are zalimun ,
और जबकि तुम्हारे रह ने मूसा को पुकारा कि " ज़ालिम लोगों के पास जा -

and when we appointed for musa forty nights , and you took the calf , and you were zalimun .
और फिरऔन के आदमियों को तुम्हारे देखते - देखते डुबो दिया और जब हमने मूसा से चालीस रातों का वायदा किया था और तुम लोगों ने उनके जाने के बाद एक बछड़े को बना लिया

he will admit to his mercy whom he will and as for the zalimun , he has prepared a painful torment .
जिसको चाहे अपनी रहमत में दाख़िल कर ले और ज़ालिमों के वास्ते उसने दर्दनाक अज़ाब तैयार कर रखा है

and indeed musa came to you with clear proofs , yet you worshipped the calf after he left , and you were zalimun .
और तुम्हारे पास मूसा तो वाज़ेए व रौशन मौजिज़े लेकर आ ही चुके थे फिर भी तुमने उनके बाद बछड़े को खुदा बना ही लिया और उससे तुम अपने ही ऊपर ज़ुल्म करने वाले थे

so we seized him and his hosts , and we threw them all into the sea . so behold what was the end of the zalimun .
अन्ततः हमने उसे औऱ उसकी सेनाओं को पकड़ लिया और उन्हें गहरे पानी में फेंक दिया । अब देख लो कि ज़ालिमों का कैसा परिणाम हुआ

but they will never long for it , because of what their hands have sent before them ! and allah knows well the zalimun .
और ये लोग उन आमाल के सबब जो ये पहले कर चुके हैं कभी उसकी आरज़ू न करेंगे और ख़ुदा तो ज़ालिमों को जानता है

and as for those who believe and do righteous good deeds , allah will pay them their reward in full . and allah does not like the zalimun .
और जिन लोगों ने ईमान क़ुबूल किया और अच्छे काम किए तो ख़ुदा उनको उनका पूरा अज्र व सवाब देगा और ख़ुदा ज़ालिमों को दोस्त नहीं रखता

and indeed we sent nuh to his people , and he stayed among them a thousand years less fifty years , and the deluge overtook them while they were zalimun .
हमने नूह को उसकी क़ौम की ओर भेजा । और वह पचास साल कम एक हजार वर्ष उनके बीच रहा । अन्ततः उनको तूफ़ान ने इस दशा में आ पकड़ा कि वे अत्याचारी था

we know indeed the grief which their words cause you : it is not you that they deny , but it is the verses of allah that the zalimun deny .
हमें मालूम है , जो कुछ वे कहते है उससे तुम्हें दुख पहुँचता है । तो वे वास्तव में तुम्हें नहीं झुठलाते , बल्कि उन अत्याचारियो को तो अल्लाह की आयतों से इनकार है

and if a breath of the torment of your lord touches them , they will surely cry : " woe unto us ! indeed we have been zalimun .
और यदि तुम्हारे रब की यातना का कोई झोंका भी उन्हें छू जाए तो वे कहन लगे , " हाय , हमारा दुर्भाग्य ! निस्संदेह हम ज़ालिम थे । "

and nuh ' s people , when they denied the messengers we drowned them , and we made them as a sign for mankind . and we have prepared a painful torment for the zalimun .
और नूह की क़ौम को जब उन लोगों ने पैग़म्बरों को झुठलाया तो हमने उन्हें डुबो दिया और हमने उनको लोगों की निशानी बनाया और हमने ज़ालिमों के वास्ते दर्दनाक अज़ाब तैयार कर रखा है
