(muhammad), have you seen those who try to purify themselves? they should know that god only purifies whomever he wants and that the slightest wrong will not be done to such people.
그들 스스로가 자신들을 성 결케 한다고 자찬하는 그들을 너 희는 보지 아니했느뇨 그러나 하 나님만이 그분의 뜻에 따라 성결 케 하시나니 그들은 조금도 그들 의 행위에 대하여 부정한 대우를 받지 아니할 것이라

have you not seen those to whom it was said, "restrain your hands, say your prayers and pay the prescribed alms?" and when they have been ordered to fight, some of them have felt afraid of human beings just as they should be afraid of god, or they are even more afraid. they say, "our lord, why have you ordered us to fight? if you would only postpone it for a little while longer!" say, "the benefits of this world are negligible and the hereafter will be better for one who fears god; and you shall not be wronged in the slightest.
너희의 손들을 자제하라 그 리고 이슬람세를 지불하라는 말을들었던 그들에게 성전에 임하라는명령이 내려지니 그들중의 한 무 리는 하나님을 경외하는 것처럼 하니 하나님을 두려워해야 할 그 들이 사람들을 두려워하는 자들을보지 않았느뇨 주여 당신은 왜 우리로 하여금 전투에 임하도록 하 나이까 우리 생명의 기한을 다소 나마 유예하여 주소서 라고 말하 매 그들에게 이르되 현세의 쾌락 은 순간이나 영원한 내세는 하나 님을 공경하는 이들에게 더 복이 되니라 또한 업적은 불평등한 대 우를 받지 않노라
