but when he tests him by straitening his means of livelihood, he says, "my lord has disgraced me."
به‌ڵام کاتێک تاقی ده‌کاته‌وه و ڕزق و ڕۆزی که‌می پێده‌به‌خشێت و لێی ده‌گرێته‌وه ده‌ڵێت: وا دیاره په‌روه‌ردگارم منی خۆش ناوێت و ڕقی لێمه و ڕیسوای کردووم.
our lord, indeed whoever you admit to the fire - you have disgraced him, and for the wrongdoers there are no helpers.

however, when his lord tests him by a measured amount of sustenance, he says, "god has disgraced me".
به‌ڵام کاتێک تاقی ده‌کاته‌وه و ڕزق و ڕۆزی که‌می پێده‌به‌خشێت و لێی ده‌گرێته‌وه ده‌ڵێت: وا دیاره په‌روه‌ردگارم منی خۆش ناوێت و ڕقی لێمه و ڕیسوای کردووم.
allah said: 'go away from here - disgraced and expelled. i shall fill the hell with all those that follow you.
خوا فه‌رمووی: له به‌هه‌شت ده‌رچۆره ده‌ره‌وه به‌سه‌رشۆڕی و ڕیسوایی و ده‌رکراوی، سوێند به خوا ئه‌و که‌سه‌ی شوێنت که‌وت له‌وان، ئه‌وه بێگومان دۆزه‌خ پڕ ده‌که‌م له ئێوه هه‌موو.
but when he tries him (differently), then straitens to him his means of subsistence, he says: my lord has disgraced me.
به‌ڵام کاتێک تاقی ده‌کاته‌وه و ڕزق و ڕۆزی که‌می پێده‌به‌خشێت و لێی ده‌گرێته‌وه ده‌ڵێت: وا دیاره په‌روه‌ردگارم منی خۆش ناوێت و ڕقی لێمه و ڕیسوای کردووم.
and had we destroyed them with a torment before it, surely they would have said: o our lord why sent not thou unto us an apostle that we might have followed thy signs before we were disgraced and humiliated.
خۆ ئه‌گه‌ر به‌ڕاستی ئێمه‌ش پێش ناردنی قورئان و پێغه‌مبه‌ر له‌ناومان ببردنایه، ئه‌وه ده‌یانوت: په‌روه‌ردگارا، بۆچی پێغه‌مبه‌رێکت بۆ ڕه‌وانه نه‌کردین، تا شوێنی به‌رنامه و ئایه‌ته‌کانی تۆ بکه‌وین پێش ئه‌وه‌ی زه‌لیل و ڕیسوا ببین.
go back to your people and we shall soon come there with an army which they will not be able to face. we shall drive them from their town, humble, and disgraced."
(ئه‌ی نوێنه‌ری به‌ڵقیس) بگه‌ڕێره‌وه بۆ لایان به خۆت و دیاریه‌که‌ته‌وه، سوێند به خوا ده‌بێت به سه‌ربازانێکه‌وه بچینه سه‌ریان که نه‌یان دیبێت و نه‌توانن به‌رگری بکه‌ن، ده‌بێت ده‌ریان بکه‌ین له وڵاتیان له کاتێکدا ئه‌وان زه‌لیل و ڕیسواو شکاون.
go back to them: we shall most certainly come upon them with forces which they will never be able to withstand, and shall most certainly cause them to be driven from their lands, disgraced and humbled!"
(ئه‌ی نوێنه‌ری به‌ڵقیس) بگه‌ڕێره‌وه بۆ لایان به خۆت و دیاریه‌که‌ته‌وه، سوێند به خوا ده‌بێت به سه‌ربازانێکه‌وه بچینه سه‌ریان که نه‌یان دیبێت و نه‌توانن به‌رگری بکه‌ن، ده‌بێت ده‌ریان بکه‌ین له وڵاتیان له کاتێکدا ئه‌وان زه‌لیل و ڕیسواو شکاون.
and if we had destroyed them with a punishment before him, they would have said, "our lord, why did you not send to us a messenger so we could have followed your verses before we were humiliated and disgraced?"
خۆ ئه‌گه‌ر به‌ڕاستی ئێمه‌ش پێش ناردنی قورئان و پێغه‌مبه‌ر له‌ناومان ببردنایه، ئه‌وه ده‌یانوت: په‌روه‌ردگارا، بۆچی پێغه‌مبه‌رێکت بۆ ڕه‌وانه نه‌کردین، تا شوێنی به‌رنامه و ئایه‌ته‌کانی تۆ بکه‌وین پێش ئه‌وه‌ی زه‌لیل و ڕیسوا ببین.
"our lord! verily, whom you admit to the fire, indeed, you have disgraced him, and never will the zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) find any helpers.
