(musa) said: o haroun! what prevented you, when you saw them going astray,
(موسا، که گه‌ڕایه‌وه به توڕه‌ییه‌وه‌) وتی: ئه‌ی هاروون، چی وای لێ کردیت (بێ ده‌نگ بیت) و هیچ نه‌که‌یت، کاتێک بینیتن ئاوا گومرا بوون؟

and the magicians were cast down making obeisance; they said: we believe in the lord of haroun and musa.
ئه‌وسا ئیتر جادووگه‌ران، خران به ڕووداو سوژده‌یان برد بۆ خوا (ڕاستییان بۆ ده‌رکه‌وت) وتیان: ئیتر ئێمه باوه‌ڕێکی به‌تینمان هێناوه به‌په‌روه‌ردگاری هاروون و موسا.

and by breast straitens, and my tongue is not eloquent, therefore send thou to haroun (to help me);
ته‌نگه نه‌فه‌س وسینه نه‌نگیش ببم و زمانم پاراو نه‌بێت، به‌ڵکو په‌یام بۆ هارونی براشم بنێرێت (تا هاوکاریم بکات و یاریده‌ده‌رم بێت)...

then did we send up after them musa and haroun to firon and his chiefs with our signs, but they showed pride and they were a guilty people.
جا دوای ئه‌وان موسا و هاروونمان ڕه‌وانه کرد بۆ فیرعه‌ون و داروده‌سته‌که‌ی، هاوڕێ له‌گه‌ل موعجیزه‌ی زۆردا که چی ئه‌وان خۆیان به گه‌وره زانی و بڕوایان پێ نه‌کردن، ئه‌وانه که‌سانێکی تاوانبار و گوناهباربوون.

هاروونی براشم زمان پاراوتره له من، ئه‌ویش له‌گه‌ڵ من ڕه‌وانه بكه‌، بۆ ئه‌وه‌ی پشتیوانیم لێ بكات و پشتگیرم بێت و به‌ڕاستدانه‌رم بێت، چونكه من به‌ڕاستی ده‌ترسم بروام پێنه‌كه‌ن.

and certainly haroun had said to them before: o my people! you are only tried by it, and surely your lord is the beneficent allah, therefore follow me and obey my order.
بێگومان پێشتریش هاروون پێی وتن: ئه‌ی قه‌ومی من؛ ئێوه به‌م گوێره‌که زێرینه تووشی تاقیکردنه‌وه‌یه‌کی سه‌خت بوون و تیایدا ده‌رنه‌چوون، دڵنیابن که په‌روه‌ردگارتان خوایه‌کی میهره‌بانه‌، شوێنی من بکه‌ون و گوێڕایه‌ڵی فه‌رمانی من بن.

and the prophet said to them: surely the sign of his kingdom is, that there shall come to you the chest in which there is tranquillity from your lord and residue of the relics of what the children of musa and the children of haroun have left, the angels bearing it; most surely there is a sign in this for those who believe.
ئه‌وسا پێغه‌مبه‌ره‌که‌یان پێی وتن: به‌ڕاستی نیشانه‌ی پاشایه‌تی طالوط ئه‌وه‌یه‌: سندووقه‌که‌تان بۆ دێته‌وه‌و، ئاسووده‌یی و ئارامی تێدایه له لایه‌ن په‌روه‌ردگارتانه‌وه‌یه‌، هه‌روه‌ها هه‌ندێک پاشماوه‌ی به‌نرخ و که‌لپوری تێدایه له‌وه‌ی که بنه‌ماڵه‌ی موسا و بنه‌ماڵه‌ی هاروون به‌جێیان هێشتووه‌و له‌کاتێکدا که فریشته هه‌ڵیده‌گرن و ده‌یهێننه‌وه بۆتان، به‌ڕاستی هه‌ر له‌وه‌دا به‌ڵگه‌و نیشانه‌ی ته‌واو هه‌یه بۆتان ئه‌گه‌ر باوه‌ڕدارن.
