the goal of this research is to analyze the master plan of the city of araraquara of the years of 1963 and 2005. our research hypothesis is that although there is a new political context, the master plan of araraquara of 2005, did not breake up with the technical and specialized character of the past, despite being based on new concepts and democratic practices in the process of public policy formulation.
o objetivo dessa pesquisa é analisar o plano diretor da cidade de araraquara dos anos de 1963 e de 2005. nossa hipótese de pesquisa é de que apesar de existir um novo contexto político, o plano diretor de araraquara de 2005, não rompeu com o caráter técnico e especializado do passado, apesar de ter se pautado por novos conceitos e práticas democráticas no processo de formulação de políticas públicas urbanas.
