"further i have spoken to them in public and secretly in private,
"அதன் பின்னர், நிச்சயமாக நான் அவர்களிடம் பகிரங்கமாகவும் பேசினேன்; இரகசியமாக அந்தரங்கத்திலும் பேசினேன்.

then i conveyed the message to them, again, both in public and in private,
"அதன் பின்னர், நிச்சயமாக நான் அவர்களிடம் பகிரங்கமாகவும் பேசினேன்; இரகசியமாக அந்தரங்கத்திலும் பேசினேன்.

"then verily, i proclaimed to them in public, and i have appealed to them in private,

tell my worshippers, those who believe, who establish the prayer, and spend of what we have given them in private and in public, before the coming of that day in which there is neither bargaining, nor the taking of friends,
ஈமான் கொண்ட என் அடியார்களிடம் (நபியே!) "கொடுக்கல் வாங்கலும், நட்பும் இல்லாத (இறுதி) நாள் வருவதற்கு முன்னதாகவே, அவர்கள் தொழுகையை முறையாகக் கடைப்பிடித்து ஒழுகட்டும், நாம் அவர்களுக்கு அளித்தவற்றிலிருந்து, இரகசியமாகவும் பகிரங்கமாகவும் (தான தருமங்களில்) செலவு செய்யட்டும்" என்று நீர் கூறுவீராக.

those who recite the book of god, who are steadfast in prayer and, who spend out of what we have given them for the cause of god, both in public and in private, have hope in an indestructible bargain
நிச்சயமாக எவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் வேதத்தை ஓதுகிறார்களோ - தொழுகையை முறையாகக் கடைப்பிடித்து ஒழுகுகிறார்களோ - நாம் அவர்களுக்கு அளித்திருப்பதிலிருந்து இரகசியமாகவும், வெளிப்படையாகவும் (அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில்) செலவு செய்கிறார்களோ, (ஆகிய இவர்கள்) என்றும் அழியாத ஒரு வியாபாரத்தையே ஆதரவு வைக்கிறார்கள்.

god presents the example of a man who is a hired servant with no power over anything, and another on whom we have bestowed a handsome fortune, who spends from it in private and in public: can they be equal? praised be god! but most men do not understand.
அல்லாஹ் (இருவரை) உதாரணம் கூறுகிறான்; பிறிதொருவனுக்கு உடமைக்கப்பட்ட எந்தப் பொருளின் மீதும் (அதிகார) உரிமை பெறாத ஓர் அடிமை மற்றொருவனோ, நம்மிடமிருந்து அவனுக்கு நல்ல உணவு(ம் மற்றும்) பொருள்களும் கொடுத்திருக்கின்றோம்; அவனும் அவற்றிலிருந்து இரகசியமாகவும் பகிரங்கமாகவும் (நம் வழியில்) செலவு செய்கிறான். இவ்விருவரும் சமமாவாரா? அல்ஹம்து லில்லாஹ் (புகழ் எல்லாம் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே) - என்றாலும் அவர்களில் பெரும் பாலோர் (இதனை) அறிந்து கொள்வதில்லை.

those who spend their property for the cause of god, any time during the day or night, in public or in private, will receive their reward from their lord. there will be no fear for them nor will they grieve.
யார் தங்கள் பொருள்களை, (தான தர்மங்களில்) இரவிலும், பகலிலும்; இரகசியமாகவும், பகிரங்கமாகவும் செலவு செய்கின்றார்களோ, அவர்களுக்கு அவர்களுடைய இறைவனிடத்தில் நற்கூலி இருக்கிறது. அவர்களுக்கு அச்சமும் இல்லை. அவர்கள் துக்கப்படவும் மாட்டார்கள்.

(muhammad), say, "let me tell you about what your lord has commanded: do not consider anything equal to god; be kind to your parents; do not murder your children out of fear of poverty, for we give sustenance to you and to them. do not even approach indecency either in public or in private. take not a life which god has made sacred except by way of justice and law. thus does he command you that you may learn wisdom.
"வாருங்கள்! உங்கள் இறைவன் உங்கள் மீது விலக்கியிருப்பவற்றையும் (ஏவியிருப்பவற்றையும்) நாம் ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கிறேன்; எப்பொருளையும் அவனுக்கு இணையாக வைக்காதீர்கள்; பெற்றோர்களுக்கு நன்மை செய்யுங்கள்; வறுமைக்குப் பயந்து உங்கள் குழந்தைகளைக் கொல்லாதீர்கள் - ஏனெனில் உங்களுக்கும், அவர்களுக்கும் நாமே உணவளிக்கின்றோம்; வெளிப்டையான இரகசியமான மானக்கேடான காரியங்களை நீங்கள் நெருங்காதீர்கள்; அல்லாஹ் தடுத்துள்ள எந்த ஓர் ஆத்மாவையும் நியாயமானதற்கு அல்லாமல் - கொலை செய்யாதீர்கள் - இவற்றை நீங்கள் உணர்ந்து கொள்வதற்காக (இறைவன்) உங்களுக்கு (இவ்வாறு) போதிக்கின்றான்.
