and whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the lord to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.
เมื่อคนใดถวายเครื่องสันติบูชาแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ เพื่อทำตามคำปฏิญาณหรือถวายด้วยใจสมัคร เป็นสัตว์ที่ได้มาจากฝูงวัว หรือฝูงแพะแกะ สัตว์นั้นต้องไม่มีตำหนิจึงจะเป็นที่โปรดปราน อย่าให้สัตว์นั้นมีที่ติเล

he that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will i accomplish my fury upon them.

(and remember) when you (the muslim army) were on the near side of the valley, and they on the farther side, and the caravan on the ground lower than you. even if you had made a mutual appointment to meet, you would certainly have failed in the appointment, but (you met) that allah might accomplish a matter already ordained (in his knowledge); so that those who were to be destroyed (for their rejecting the faith) might be destroyed after a clear evidence, and those who were to live (i.e. believers) might live after a clear evidence. and surely, allah is all-hearer, all-knower.
“จงรำลึกขณะที่พวกเจ้าอยู่ด้านหุบเขาที่ใกล้กว่า และพวกเขาอยู่ด้านหุบเขาที่ไกลกว่า และกองคาราวานนั้นอยู่ต่ำกว่าพวกเจ้า และถ้าหากพวกเจ้าต่างได้สัญญา กัน แน่นอนพวกเจ้าก็ย่อมขัดแย้งกัน แล้วในสัญญานั้นแต่ทว่าเพื่อที่อัลลอฮฺจะได้ทรงให้งานหนึ่ง เสร็จสิ้นไป ซึ่งงานนั้นได้ถูกกระทำไว้แล้ว เพื่อว่าผู้พินาศ จะได้พินาศลงโดยหลักฐานอันชัดแจ้ง และผู้มีชีวิตอยู่ จะได้มีชีวิตอยู่โดยหลักฐานอันชัดแจ้ง และแท้จริงอัลลอฮฺนั้นเป็นผู้ทรงได้ยินผู้ทรงรอบรู้”
