for as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:
ข้าพเจ้าไม่จำเป็นต้องเขียนถึงท่านในเรื่องการสงเคราะห์วิสุทธิช

either a bullock or a lamb that hath any thing superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a freewill offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.
วัวหรือลูกแกะที่มีอวัยวะยาวเกินไปหรือสั้นเกินไปสักส่วนหนึ่ง ท่านจะนำมาถวายเป็นเครื่องบูชาด้วยใจสมัครก็ได้ แต่ถ้าเป็นเครื่องบูชาปฏิญาณก็ไม่เป็นที่โปรดปรา

for whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,
เพราะว่าผู้ใดที่มีตำหนิจะเข้าใกล้ไม่ได้ ไม่ว่าเป็นคนตาบอดหรือเป็นคนง่อย หรือที่หน้ามีแผลเป็น หรือแขนขายาวเกิ

they question thee about strong drink and games of chance. say: in both is great sin, and (some) utility for men; but the sin of them is greater than their usefulness. and they ask thee what they ought to spend. say: that which is superfluous. thus allah maketh plain to you (his) revelations, that haply ye may reflect.
พวกเขาจะถามเจ้าเกี่ยวกับน้ำเมา และการพนัน จงกล่าวเถิดว่า ในทั้งสองนั้นมีโทษมากและมีคุณหลายอย่างแก่มนุษย์ แต่โทษของมันทั้งสองนั้นมากกว่าคุณของมัน และพวกเขาจะถามเจ้าว่า พวกเขาจะบริจาคสิ่งใด ? จงกล่าวเถิดว่า สิ่งที่เหลือจากการใช้จ่าย ในทำนองนั้นแหละ อัลลอฮ์จะทรงแจกแจงโองการทั้งหลายแก่พวกเจ้าหวังว่าพวกเจ้าจะได้ใคร่ครวญ
