이혼한 여성은 삼개월을 기다리게 되나니 이는 하나님이 태 내에 창조한 것을 숨기는 것을 막고자 함이라 만일 그들이 하나님 과 내세를 믿어 남편이 돌아을 의사가 있을 때는 남편은 이 기간에돌아을 권리가 있으며 또한 여성 과 남성이 똑같은 권리가 있으나 남성이 여성보다 위에 있나니 하 나님은 만사형통 하심이라
and divorced women shall restrain themselves for three menstrual periods; and it is not lawful for them to conceal what allah has created in their wombs if they believe in allah and the last day; and their husbands have the right to take them back, during this time, if they desire reconciliation; and the women also have rights similar to those of men over them, in accordance with islamic law – and men have superiority over them; and allah is almighty, wise.

이미 결혼한 여성과도 금지 되나 너희들의 오른손이 소유한 것은 제외라 이것은 하나님의 명 령이며 이 외에는 너희를 위해 허락이 되었으며 간음이 아닌 합법 적 결혼을 원할 경우 지참금을 지 불해야 되나니 너희가 그들과 결 혼함으로써 욕망을 추구했다면 그 녀들에게 지참금을 줄 것이라 그 의무가 행해진 후에는 쌍방의 합 의에 의한 것에 관하여는 너희에 게 죄악이 아니거늘 실로 하나님 은 만사형통 하심이라
also forbidden are married women unless they are captives (of war). such is the decree of god. lawful for you are women besides these if you seek them with your wealth for wedlock and not for debauchery. then give those of these women you have enjoyed, the agreed dower. it will not be sinful if you agree to something (else) by mutual consent after having settled the dowry. god is certainly all-knowing and all-wise.
