and whose religion is better than one who submits his self to allah and is virtuous and follows the religion of ibrahim, who was far removed from all falsehood?

na wakasema: kuweni mayahudi au wakristo ndio mtaongoka. sema: bali tunashika mila ya ibrahim mwongofu, wala hakuwa katika washirikina.
and the people given the book(s) said, “become jews or christians – you will attain the right path”; say (o dear prophet mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “no – rather we take the religion of ibrahim, who was far removed from all falsehood; and was not of the polytheists.”

na nimefuata mila ya baba zangu, ibrahim, na is-haq, na yaa'qub. hatuna haki ya kumshirikisha mwenyezi mungu na chochote.
"and i have followed the religion of my fathers, - ibrahim (abraham), ishaque (isaac) and ya'qub (jacob)], and never could we attribute any partners whatsoever to allah.
