নিঃসন ্ দেহ সাব ্ বাতের নিয়ম ধার ্ য করা হয়েছিল কেবল তাদের জন ্ য যারা এ-সন ্ বন ্ ধে মতভেদ করেছিল । আর তোমার প ্ রভু অবশ ্ যই তাদের মধ ্ যে কিয়ামতের দিনে মীমাংসা করে দেবেন যে-বিষয়ে ওরা মতভেদ করত সেই বিষয়ে ।

and assuredly ye know of those of you who trespassed in the matter of the sabbath , wherefore we said unto them : be ye apes despised .
তদুপরি তোমাদের মধ ্ যে যারা সাব ্ বাথের নিয়ম লঙঘন করেছিল তাদের কথা নিশ ্ চয়ই জানা আছে , তাই আমরা তাদের বলেছিলাম -- “ তোমরা ঘৃণ ্ য বানর হয়ে যাও । ”

and certainly you know those of you who violated the sabbath , whereupon we said to them , ‘ be you spurned apes . ’
তদুপরি তোমাদের মধ ্ যে যারা সাব ্ বাথের নিয়ম লঙঘন করেছিল তাদের কথা নিশ ্ চয়ই জানা আছে , তাই আমরা তাদের বলেছিলাম -- “ তোমরা ঘৃণ ্ য বানর হয়ে যাও । ”

as for the sabbath , it was imposed on those who had differed about it ; and your lord will tell them on the day of resurrection what it was they had differed about .
নিঃসন ্ দেহ সাব ্ বাতের নিয়ম ধার ্ য করা হয়েছিল কেবল তাদের জন ্ য যারা এ-সন ্ বন ্ ধে মতভেদ করেছিল । আর তোমার প ্ রভু অবশ ্ যই তাদের মধ ্ যে কিয়ামতের দিনে মীমাংসা করে দেবেন যে-বিষয়ে ওরা মতভেদ করত সেই বিষয়ে ।

the sabbath was appointed only for those who differed concerning it , and lo ! thy lord will judge between them on the day of resurrection concerning that wherein they used to differ .
নিঃসন ্ দেহ সাব ্ বাতের নিয়ম ধার ্ য করা হয়েছিল কেবল তাদের জন ্ য যারা এ-সন ্ বন ্ ধে মতভেদ করেছিল । আর তোমার প ্ রভু অবশ ্ যই তাদের মধ ্ যে কিয়ামতের দিনে মীমাংসা করে দেবেন যে-বিষয়ে ওরা মতভেদ করত সেই বিষয়ে ।

( the observance ) of the sabbath was only sanctioned for those who disputed it . your lord will certainly issue his decree about their dispute on the day of judgment .
নিঃসন ্ দেহ সাব ্ বাতের নিয়ম ধার ্ য করা হয়েছিল কেবল তাদের জন ্ য যারা এ-সন ্ বন ্ ধে মতভেদ করেছিল । আর তোমার প ্ রভু অবশ ্ যই তাদের মধ ্ যে কিয়ামতের দিনে মীমাংসা করে দেবেন যে-বিষয়ে ওরা মতভেদ করত সেই বিষয়ে ।

and certainly you have known those among you who exceeded the limits of the sabbath , so we said to them : be ( as ) apes , despised and hated .
তদুপরি তোমাদের মধ ্ যে যারা সাব ্ বাথের নিয়ম লঙঘন করেছিল তাদের কথা নিশ ্ চয়ই জানা আছে , তাই আমরা তাদের বলেছিলাম -- “ তোমরা ঘৃণ ্ য বানর হয়ে যাও । ”

believe in what we sent down , confirming what you have , before we obliterate faces and turn them inside out , or curse them as we cursed the sabbath-breakers . the command of god is always done .
ওহে যাদের কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছে ! তোমরা ঈমান আনো তাতে যা আমরা নাযিল করেছি তোমাদের কাছে যা আছে তার সত ্ য- সমর ্ থনরূপে , মূখপাত ্ রদের বিধবস ্ ত করবার ও তাদের পেছনের দিকে ফিরিয়ে দেবার , অথবা তাদের বঞ ্ চিত করবার পূর ্ বে যেমন আমরা ধিক ্ কার দিয়েছিলাম সাব ্ বাত অনুসরণকারীদের । আর আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ র হুকুম অবশ ্ য কার ্ যকর হবে ।

and for their covenant , we raised over them the mount and ( on the other occasion ) we said : " enter the gate prostrating ( or bowing ) with humility ; " and we commanded them : " transgress not ( by doing worldly works on ) the sabbath ( saturday ) . " and we took from them a firm covenant .
কিন ্ তু তাদের অঙ ্ গীকার তাদের ভেঙ ্ গে দেবার ফলে , আর আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ র নির ্ দেশের প ্ রতি তাদের অবিশ ্ বাসের জন ্ যে , আর নবীগণকে না- হক ্ ‌ ভাবে তাদের হত ্ যা করতে যাবার জন ্ যে , আর তাদের বলার জন ্ য -- ''আমাদের হৃদয় হ’ল গেলাফ।’’ না, আল্লাহ্ তাদের উপরে সীল মেরে দিয়েছেন তাদের অবিশ্বাসের জন্যেচ তাই তারা ঈমান আনে না অল্প ছাড়া, --
