အထက်ကာလ၌သင်တို့သည် မှောင်မိုက်အတိဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ယခုမူကား၊ သခင်ဘုရား၌အလင်းဖြစ်ကြ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ အလင်း၏သားကဲ့သို့ ကျင့်နေကြလော့။

the light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
မျက်စိကား ကိုယ်၏ ဆီမီးဖြစ်၏။ ထိုကြောင့် မျက်စိကြည်လင်လျှင် တကိုယ်လုံးလင်းလိမ့်မည်။

and the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.

if thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
အင်္ဂါတခုမျှမမိုက်ဘဲ တကိုယ်လုံးလင်းလျှင်၊ ဆီမီး၏အရောင်နှင့် လင်းစေသကဲ့သို့ လုံးလုံးလင်းလျက် ရှိလိမ့်မည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

while ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. these things spake jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

he disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.
ပရိယာယ်ပြုသောသူတို့၏ အမှုကိုမအောင်စေခြင်းငှါ သူတို့အကြံကို ဖျက်တော်မူ၏။

the lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
ထာဝရဘုရားသည် တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့၏ တိုင်ပင်ခြင်းကို ပယ်တော်မူ၏။ လူတို့၏ကြံစည်ခြင်းကို လည်း ဖျက်ဆီးတော်မူ၏။

every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
ထိုအဘသည် ရွေ့ လျော့တိမ်းယိမ်းခြင်းမရှိ၊ ပြောင်းလဲခြင်းအရိပ်နှင့် ကင်းလွတ်တော်မူ၏။
