ငါသည်သစ္စာစကားကို ပြောသောကြောင့် သင်တို့မယုံကြ။

this i had, because i kept thy precepts.
ပေးတော်မူသော ဩဝါဒများကို နားထောင် သောအားဖြင့် အားရပါ၏။

wherefore? because i love you not? god knoweth.
အဘယ်ကြောင့်နည်း၊ သင်တို့ကိုငါမချစ်သလော။ ဘုရားသခင် သိတော်မူ၏။

i understand more than the ancients, because i keep thy precepts.
ကိုယ်တော်၏ ဥပဒေသများကို စောင့်သော ကြောင့်၊ အသက်ကြီးသူတို့ထက်သာ၍ ဥာဏ်ကောင်း ပါ၏။

and because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
မတရားသောအမှုတို့သည်များပြားသဖြင့် အများသောသူတို့၏ ချစ်ခြင်းမေတ္တာသည် ခေါင်းပါးလိမ့် မည်။

am i therefore become your enemy, because i tell you the truth?
ယခုမူကား၊ ငါသည်သမ္မာတရားကို သင်တို့အား ဟောပြောသောကြောင့် သင်တို့၏ရန်သူဖြစ်သလော။

of righteousness, because i go to my father, and ye see me no more;
ငါသည် ခမည်းတော်ထံသို့ သွားမည်ဖြစ်၍၊ သင်တို့သည် နောက်တဖန် ငါ့ကိုမတွေ့မမြင်ရသော ကြောင့်၊ အပြစ်ကင်းခြင်းကို ဘော်ပြမည်။

because i will publish the name of the lord: ascribe ye greatness unto our god.
ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နာမတော်ကို ဘော်ပြ သည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ငါတို့ဘုရားသခင်၏ ဘုန်းအာနုဘော်တော် ကို ချီးမွမ်းကြလော့။

fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
မိုက်သောသဘောရှိသော သူတို့သည်လမ်းလွှဲ၍၊ ဒုစရိုက်ကို ပြုသောကြောင့် ဆင်းရဲခြင်းနှင့် တွေ့ကြုံ ရကြ၏။

but i destroyed it because i could not take the decision for them to be killed, or to even participate in a decision of this type.
သူတို့က ထို အချက်အလက်တွေကို ဖြန့်ဝေပေးပြီး လူသတ်သမားတွေကို အပြစ်ဒါဏ်ပေးခံရဖို့ သေချာအောင် လုပ်နိုင်သည်။

and he thought within himself, saying, what shall i do, because i have no room where to bestow my fruits?
ထိုသူဌေးက၊ ငါသည် အဘယ်သို့ ပြုရမည်နည်း။ အသီးအနှံများကို သိုထားစရာအရပ်မရှိ။

and because of all this we make a sure covenant, and write it; and our princes, levites, and priests, seal unto it.
ထိုအကြောင်းအရာများကို ငါတို့သည် ဆင်ခြင် ပြီးမှ၊ သစ္စာပြု၍ စာချုပ်ကိုလည်း ရေးထားလျက်၊ ငါတို့ အကြီးအကဲ၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်၊ လေဝိသားတို့သည် တံဆိပ် ခတ်ကြ၏။

and because i doubted of such manner of questions, i asked him whether he would go to jerusalem, and there be judged of these matters.
ထိုပုစ္ဆာအမေးကို ကျွန်ုပ်သည် မကျွမ်းသော ကြောင့်၊ ပေါလုအားလည်း၊ သင်သည်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ သွား၍ ဤအမှုစီရင်ခြင်းကို ခံမည်လောဟုမေးလျှင်၊

and the lord said, because the cry of sodom and gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
တဖန်ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ သောဒုံမြို့၊ ဂေါမောရ မြို့၌ ကြွေးကြော်သော အသံသည်ကြီး၍၊ အလွန်အပြစ် လေးသောကြောင့်၊

a little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because i go to the father.
ခဏကြာပြီးမှ သင်တို့သည်ငါ့ကိုမမြင်ရကြ။ တဖန်ခဏကြာပြီးမှ ငါ့ကိုမြင်ပြန်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ငါသည်ခမည်းတော်ထံသို့ သွားမည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

and because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.
အလုပ်ချင်းတူသောကြောင့်၊ သူတို့နှင့်နေ၍ အလုပ်လုပ်လေ၏။ ထိုသူတို့သည် တဲရှင်ကိုချုပ်တတ် သော အချုပ်သမားဖြစ်ကြ၏။

and leah said, god hath endued me with a good dowry; now will my husband dwell with me, because i have born him six sons: and she called his name zebulun.
ဘုရားသခင်သည် ကောင်းသောလက်ဖွဲ့ကို ပေးသနားတော်မူပြီ။ ငါ့လင်အား သားခြောက်ယောက်ကို ဘွားမြင်သောကြောင့်၊ ယခုငါနှင့် အမြဲနေလိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆို၍၊ ထိုသားကို ဇာဗုလုန် အမည်ဖြင့် မှည့်လေ၏။

and because he saw it pleased the jews, he proceeded further to take peter also. (then were the days of unleavened bread.)
ယုဒလူတို့သည် အားရဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်း ရှိသည် ကိုမြင်လျှင်၊ အဇုမပွဲနေ့ရက်တို့၌ တဖန်ထပ်၍၊

and because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of egypt;
သင်တို့ဘိုးဘေးများကို ချစ်တော်မူသောကြောင့်၊ သူတို့ အမျိုးအနွယ်ကို ရွေးကောက်တော်မူပြီ။

and as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of god should immediately appear.
ထိုအခါ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့အနီးသို့ ရောက်တော်မူ၍၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ နိုင်ငံတော်သည် ချက်ခြင်း ပေါ်ထွန်းမည်ဟု လူများထင်မှတ်သောကြောင့်၊ ပရိတ်သတ်အလယ်၌ မိန့်တော်မူသော ဥပမာကား၊
