မတရားသော အမှု၌ ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်းမရှိတတ်၊ သမ္မာတရား၌ ဝမ်းမြောက်တတ်၏။

ငါတို့သည်သမ္မာတရားကို ဆီးတားခြင်းငှါ အလျှင်းမတတ်နိုင်ကြ။

and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
သမ္မာတရားကိုလည်း သိကြသဖြင့်၊ ထိုတရားသည် သင်တို့ကို လွှတ်လိမ့်မည်ဟု၊ ယုံကြည်သော ယုဒ လူတို့အား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

ညီအစ်ကိုတို့၊ သင်တို့တွင် တစုံတယောက်သောသူသည် သမ္မာတရားလမ်းမှလွဲသွား၍ သူတပါးသည် ထိုသူကို ပြန်စေလျှင်မူကား၊

buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.
သမ္မာတရားကို ဝယ်လော့။ မရောင်းနှင့်။ ပညာ ကို၎င်း၊ ဆုံးမဩဝါဒကို၎င်း၊ ဥာဏ်သတ္တိကို၎င်း ထိုအတူ ပြုလော့။

not giving heed to jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
အမှုမထားဘဲ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းအမှု၌ စင်ကြယ်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ သူတို့ကို ကျပ်တည်းစွာ ဆုံးမပြစ်တင်လော့။

and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
သမ္မာတရားကို နားမထောင်ဘဲ၊ ဒဏ္ဏာရီစကားကို နားထောင်၍ လွဲသွားကြလိမ့်မည်။

ရှင်ဘုရင်ကလည်း၊ မှန်သောစကားမှတပါး အခြားသောစကားကို ထာဝရဘုရားအခွင့်နှင့် သင်သည် ငါ့အားမဟောမည်အကြောင်း၊ ငါသည်ဘယ်နှစ်ကြိမ် တိုင်အောင် သင့်အား အကျိန်ပေးရမည်နည်းဟု မေးသော်၊

and he that owneth the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, it seemeth to me there is as it were a plague in the house:
အိမ်ရှင်သည် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ထံသို့သွား၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ်အိမ်ကို နူနာစွဲဟန်ရှိပါ၏ဟု ပြောဆိုလျှင်၎င်း၊-

but as for me, my prayer is unto thee, o lord, in an acceptable time: o god, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.
အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်မူကား၊ မင်္ဂလာအချိန်ကာလ၌ ကိုယ်တော်ကို ဆုတောင်းပါ၏။ အိုဘုရားသခင်၊ ကရုဏာတော် ကြွယ်ဝသည်နှင့်အညီ၊ ကယ်တင်တော်မူခြင်း သစ္စာအတိုင်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ် စကားကို နားထောင်တော်မူပါ။
