ဘုရားသခင်၏ လူတယောက်သည် ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင်ထံသို့ လာ၍ ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည် ကား၊ ရှုရိလူတို့က ထာဝရဘုရားသည် တောင်ကိုသာအစိုးရသော ဘုရားဖြစ်၏။ လွင်ပြင်ကိုအစိုးရသော ဘုရားမဟုတ်ဟု ဆိုမိသောကြောင့်၊ ထိုကြီးစွာသော အလုံးအရင်းအပေါင်းကို သင့်လက်သို့ ငါအပ်မည်။ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်ကြောင်းကို သင်တို့သိရကြလိမ့် မည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူကြောင်းကို ဆင့်ဆို၏။

then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets; this man is not worthy to die: for he hath spoken to us in the name of the lord our god.
ထိုအခါမှူးမတ်အစရှိသော လူများအပေါင်းတို့ က၊ ဤသူသည် အသေခံထိုက်သည်မဟုတ်။ ငါတို့ဘုရား သခင် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နာမတော်ကို အမှီပြု၍၊ ငါတို့ အား ဟောပြောလေပြီဟု ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်နှင့် ပရောဖက် တို့အား ပြောဆိုကြ၏။

and the children of joseph said, the hill is not enough for us: and all the canaanites that dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron, both they who are of beth-shean and her towns, and they who are of the valley of jezreel.
ယောသပ်အမျိုးသားတို့ကလည်း၊ ဧဖရိမ်တောင် သည် အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အဘို့ မလောက်ပါ။ ချိုင့်အရပ်ဗက်ရှန် မြို့ရွာတို့၌၎င်း၊ ယေဇရေလချိုင့်၌၎င်း နေသော ခါနနိလူ အပေါင်းတို့သည် သံရထားနှင့် ပြည့်စုံပါသည်ဟု လျှောက် ပြန်လျှင်၊

then said the princes of the philistines, what do these hebrews here? and achish said unto the princes of the philistines, is not this david, the servant of saul the king of israel, which hath been with me these days, or these years, and i have found no fault in him since he fell unto me unto this day?
ဖိလိတ္တိမင်းတို့ကလည်း၊ သင်နှင့်လိုက်သော ထိုသူတို့သည် အဘယ်သူနည်းဟုမေးလျှင်၊ အာခိတ်မင်းက၊ ဤသူသည် ဣသရေလရှင်ဘုရင် ရှောလု၏ကျွန် ဒါဝိဒ် ဖြစ်သည်မဟုတ်လော။ ကြာမြင့်စွာ ငါ့ထံမှာနေပြီ။ ငါ့ထံသို့ ရောက်သောနေ့မှစ၍ ယနေ့တိုင်အောင် သူ၌အပြစ်တင်စရာ တစုံတခုကိုမျှ မတွေ့ဟု ဖိလိတ္တိမင်းတို့အား ပြောဆိုသော်လည်း၊
