ယောရှဖတ်မင်းသည် ဣသရေလရှင်ဘုရင်နှင့် စစ်မတိုက် မိဿဟာယဖွဲ့လေ၏။

and jehoshaphat the king of judah returned to his house in peace to jerusalem.
ယုဒရှင်ဘုရင်ယောရှဖတ်သည် ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ နန်းတော်သို့ ငြိမ်ဝပ်စွာ ပြန်လာ၏။

and jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead, and strengthened himself against israel.
အာသသားယောရှဖတ်သည် ခမည်းတော် အရာ၌ နန်းထိုင်၍၊ ဣသရေလနိုင်ငံတဘက် မိမိကို ခိုင်ခံ့စေ၏။

and adoram was over the tribute: and jehoshaphat the son of ahilud was recorder:
အဒေါနိရံသည် အခွန်တော်ဝန်ဖြစ်၏။ အဟိ လုပ်သားယော ရှဖတ်သည် အတွင်းဝန်ဖြစ်၏။

and joab the son zeruiah was over the host; and jehoshaphat the son of ahilud, recorder.

and it came to pass in the third year, that jehoshaphat the king of judah came down to the king of israel.
တတိယနှစ်တွင်၊ ယုဒရှင်ဘုရင်ယောရှဖတ်သည် ဣသရေလရှင်ဘုရင်ထံသို့ လာ၏။

and jehoshaphat said, is there not here a prophet of the lord besides, that we might inquire of him?
ယောရှဖတ်ကလည်း၊ ငါတို့မေးမြန်းစရာ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ပရောဖက် တစုံ တပါးမျှမရှိသလောဟု မေးသော်၊

and jehoshaphat said, the word of the lord is with him. so the king of israel and jehoshaphat and the king of edom went down to him.
ယောရှဖတ်က၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်သည် သူ၌ရှိတော်မူသည်ဟုဆိုလျက်၊ ရှင်ဘုရင် သုံးပါးတို့သည် ဧလိရှဲထံသို့သွားကြ၏။

and the fear of the lord fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands that were round about judah, so that they made no war against jehoshaphat.
ယုဒပြည် ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်တိုင်းနိုင်ငံရှိသမျှတို့ သည်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကြောက်ရွံ့၍၊ ယောရှဖတ်ကို စစ်မတိုက်ဝံ့ဘဲ နေကြ၏။

ahaziah the son of ahab began to reign over israel in samaria the seventeenth year of jehoshaphat king of judah, and reigned two years over israel.
ယုဒရှင်ဘုရင်ယောရှဖတ်နန်းစံ ဆယ်ခုနစ်နှစ် တွင်၊ အာဟပ်သားအာခဇိသည် ရှမာရိမြို့၌ မင်းပြု၍ ဣသရေလနိုင်ငံကို နှစ်နှစ်စိုးစံ၏။

and asa slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of david his father: and jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead.
ဘိုးဘေးတို့နှင့်အိပ်ပျော်၍ အဘိတော်ဒါဝိဒ်မြို့၌ သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ခြင်းကိုခံလေ၏။ သားတော်ယောရှဖတ်သည် ခမည်းတော်အရာ၌ နန်းထိုင်၏။

and in the fifth year of joram the son of ahab king of israel, jehoshaphat being then king of judah, jehoram the son of jehoshaphat king of judah began to reign.
ဣသရေလရှင်ဘုရင် အာဟပ်သား ယောရံ နန်းစံငါးနှစ်တွင်၊ ယုဒရှင်ဘုရင်ယောရှဖတ်သား ယဟော ရံသည် နန်းထိုင်လေ၏။

it came to pass after this also, that the children of moab, and the children of ammon, and with them other beside the ammonites, came against jehoshaphat to battle.
ထိုနောက်မှ၊ မောဘအမျိုးသားနှင့် အမ္မန် အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ဧဒုံအမျိုးသားအချို့နှင့်တကွ၊ ယောရှဖတ်ကို စစ်တိုက်မည်ဟု ချီလာကြ၏။

now the rest of the acts of jehoshaphat, and his might that he shewed, and how he warred, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of judah?
ယောရှဖတ်ပြုမူသော အမှုအရာကြွင်းလေသမျှ တို့နှင့် တန်ခိုးကြီးခြင်း၊ စစ်တိုက်ခြင်းအရာတို့သည် ယုဒရာဇဝင်၌ ရေးထားလျက် ရှိ၏။

and jehoshaphat dwelt at jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from beer-sheba to mount ephraim, and brought them back unto the lord god of their fathers.
ထိုနောက်၊ ယောရှဖတ်သည် ယေရုရှလင်မြို့၌ နေ၏။ တဖန်ဗေရရှေဘမြို့မှစ၍၊ ဧဖရိမ်တောင် တိုင်အောင် လှည့်လည်သဖြင့်၊ ပြည်သားတို့ကို ဘိုးဘေးတို့၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားထံတော်သို့ ပြန်စေတော် မူ၏။

also some of the philistines brought jehoshaphat presents, and tribute silver; and the arabians brought him flocks, seven thousand and seven hundred rams, and seven thousand and seven hundred he goats.
ဖိလိတ္တိလူတို့သည် လက်ဆောင်နှင့် အခွန်ငွေကို၎င်း၊ အာရပ်လူတို့သည် သိုးခုနစ်ထောင်ခုနစ်ရာနှင့် ဆိတ်ခုနစ်ထောင်ခုနစ်ရာကို၎င်း ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြ၏။

and elisha said, as the lord of hosts liveth, before whom i stand, surely, were it not that i regard the presence of jehoshaphat the king of judah, i would not look toward thee, nor see thee.
ဧလိရှဲက၊ ငါကိုးကွယ်သော ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ် ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား အသက်ရှင်တော်မူသည် အတိုင်း၊ အကယ်၍ ယုဒရှင်ဘုရင်ယောရှဖတ်၏ မျက်နှာ ကို ငါမထောက်လျှင်၊ သင့်ကို ငါမကြည့်မမြင်လို။

and ahab king of israel said unto jehoshaphat king of judah, wilt thou go with me to ramoth-gilead? and he answered him, i am as thou art, and my people as thy people; and we will be with thee in the war.
