and the lord spake unto joshua, saying,
တဖန် ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ သက်သေခံချက် သေတ္တာတော်ကို ထမ်းသော ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်တို့သည်၊

joshua made war a long time with all those kings.
ထိုမင်းကြီးအပေါင်းတို့ကို ကာလကြာမြင့်စွာ စစ် တိုက်ရ၏။

and the angel of the lord protested unto joshua, saying,
တဖန် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ကောင်းကင်တမန် သည် ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ အမိန့် တော်ကို ဆင့်ဆို၍ ယောရှုအား ပညတ်ထားသည်ကား၊

and the king of ai they took alive, and brought him to joshua.
အာဣမင်းကြီးကို အရှင်ဘမ်း၍ ယောရှုထံသို့ ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြ၏။

and joshua discomfited amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
ယောရှုသည်လည်း အာမလက်မင်းနှင့် လူများတို့ကို ထားလက်နက်ဖြင့် လုပ်ကြံလေ၏။

and joshua returned, and all israel with him, unto the camp to gilgal.

joshua therefore commanded the priests, saying, come ye up out of jordan.

and joshua blessed him, and gave unto caleb the son of jephunneh hebron for an inheritance.
ထိုအခါ ယောရှုသည် ကောင်းကြီးပေး၏။ ဟေဗြုန်ပြည်ကိုလည်း၊ ယေဖုန္နာ၏သား ကာလက်အမွေခံ စရာဘို့ အပ်ပေးလေ၏။

and it was told joshua, saying, the five kings are found hid in a cave at makkedah.
မက္ကဒါလိုင်ခေါင်း၌ ပုန်းလျက်နေသော မင်းကြီး ငါးပါးကို တွေ့ပါပြီဟု ယောရှုအား ကြားလျှောက်လျှင်၊

and joshua made him sharp knives, and circumcised the children of israel at the hill of the foreskins.
ယောရှုသည် ကျောက်ထားများကို လုပ်၍ ဂိဘာရာလုတ်အရပ်၌ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အား အရေဖျားလှီးမင်္ဂလာကို ပေးလေ၏။

and joshua and all israel made as if they were beaten before them, and fled by the way of the wilderness.
ယောရှုနှင့်ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားအပေါင်းတို့ သည် ရှုံးဟန်ပြုလျက် တောလမ်းဖြင့် ပြေးကြ၏။

and all these kings and their land did joshua take at one time, because the lord god of israel fought for israel.
ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား သည်၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးဘက်မှာ စစ်တိုက်တော်မူသော ကြောင့်၊ ထိုပြည်သားများနှင့်တကွ မင်းကြီးအပေါင်းတို့ကို တခါတည်း အောင်လေ၏။

and joshua did unto them as the lord bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire.
ထာဝရဘုရား မှာထားတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ ယောရှုသည် မြင်းတို့၏ ခြေကြောကို ဖြတ်၍ ရထားတို့ကို မီးရှို့လေ၏။

and he shewed me joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the lord, and satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မင်း ယောရှုသည် ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ ကောင်းကင်တမန်ရှေ့၌ ရပ်နေသည်ကို၎င်း၊ စာတန်သည် ရန်ဘက်ပြု၍ သူ၏လက်ျာဘက်၌ ရပ်နေ သည်ကို၎င်း ငါ့အားပြတော်မူ၏။

and achan answered joshua, and said, indeed i have sinned against the lord god of israel, and thus and thus have i done:
အာခန်က၊ ဟုတ်ပါ၏။ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကျွန်တော်ပြစ်မှားပါပြီ။ ကျွန်တော်ပြုမိသောအမှု ဟူမူကား၊

and all the people that were in ai were called together to pursue after them: and they pursued after joshua, and were drawn away from the city.
သူတို့ကို လိုက်ခြင်းငှါ၊ အာဣမင်းကြီးသည် မြို့၌ ရှိသမျှသော ယောက်ျားတို့ကို နှိုးဆော်ပြီးလျှင်၊ မြို့သားတို့ သည် ယောရှုကိုလိုက်၍၊ မြို့နှင့်ကွာမှန်းမသိ ခွါသွားကြ၏။

and afterward joshua smote them, and slew them, and hanged them on five trees: and they were hanging upon the trees until the evening.
ထိုမင်းကြီးတို့ကို ထားနှင့်ကွပ်မျက်၍ သစ်ပင် ငါးပင်တို့၌ ဆွဲထားလေ၏။ ညဦးတိုင်အောင် သစ်ပင်၌ ဆွဲထားပြီးမှ၊

and the lord said unto joshua, fear them not: for i have delivered them into thine hand; there shall not a man of them stand before thee.
ထာဝရဘုရားကလည်း၊ သူတို့ကို မကြောက်နှင့်။ သင်၏လက်၌ ငါအပ်မည်။ သင့်ရှေ့မှာ လူတစုံတ ယောက်မျှ မခံမရပ်နိုင်ရာဟု ယောရှုအား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

and israel served the lord all the days of joshua, and all the days of the elders that overlived joshua, and which had known all the works of the lord, that he had done for israel.
ယောရှုလက်ထက်ကာလပတ်လုံး ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရားကို ဝတ်ပြုကြ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးအဘို့ ပြုတော်မူ သမျှတို့ကို သိ၍ ယောရှုမရှိသည်နောက် အသက်ရှင်သေး သော အသက်ကြီးသူတို့လက်ထက်၌လည်း ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ဝတ်ပြုကြ၏။
